His gaze traveled upwards, taking in her figure clad in a vibrant red qipao. The slit in the skirt ended just above her black silk stockings, offering a tantalizing glimpse of her smooth, fair skin.

Her hands, delicate and graceful, rested on her lower abdomen. Her arms, exposed below the three-quarter sleeves, were as smooth and lustrous as ivory. A luxurious fur stole, draped over her elbows, added a touch of elegance and sophistication.
As she walked, the ends of the stole and her hip-length hair swayed in unison with her graceful movements, her every step exuding an alluring charm.

He suddenly realized his situation differed from the script.

To his surprise, she sat down beside him, squeezing into the same armchair!

Jin Tong and Yu Nu, the twin bodyguards with their stoic expressions, immediately took the other chair.
“…Then I’ll give you my seat. I’ll stand.”
He started to get up, but she pulled him back down.
“How can we let our guest stand? If you don’t like sitting with me, Little Brother Yan Zhen, then *I’ll* stand.”
Despite her words, she remained firmly seated.
