“Lu Letian, what are you doing here?” A voice interrupted him.

Lu Letian instinctively turned towards the voice and made a helpless expression upon seeing the newcomer.

“Miss Chang, what are you doing here?” Zuo Bian looked at Chang Wensi curiously. She was wearing sunglasses, a scarf, and a mask, even though it was summer.

Although Chang Wensi had tried her best to conceal herself, those who knew her could still recognize her from her voice and demeanor.

Chang Wensi took off her sunglasses and crossed her arms, her eyes narrowed as she looked back and forth between Lu Letian and Zuo Bian.

“Why are you two together?” she asked, her tone accusatory, as if she had caught them doing something wrong.

Lu Letian spoke first. “I just happened to run into Miss Zuo.”

Chang Wensi clicked her tongue twice. “Lu Letian, don’t you ever stop chasing after beautiful women? Even though Zuo Bian stole my brother’s future girlfriend, she’s already taken. Are you planning to be a homewrecker? Zuo Bian, tell me, what’s your relationship with Qin Ai?!”

Zuo Bian answered blankly, “A touching socialist sisterhood?”

Zuo Bian asked, “Wear? Wear what?”

Chang Wensi pulled out two masks from her pocket and shoved one into each of their hands.

“Masks, of course! Are you guys even celebrities? What if you get caught by paparazzi? Put them on, I don’t want to be involved in any scandals with you.”

Under Chang Wensi’s watchful eye, Lu Letian and Zuo Bian reluctantly put on the masks.

Lu Letian grumbled, “I don’t want to be involved in a scandal with you either.”

Zuo Bian, with only her eyes visible above the mask, asked in confusion, “We’re both women, can we even have a scandal?”

Zuo Bian wiped her mouth with satisfaction, giving Chang Wensi a grateful smile. “Xiao Chang, you’re so kind. I really enjoyed the meal today. Thank you for treating me.”

Chang Wensi nodded instinctively. “Oh, okay.”
