You’re Not Allowed to Kiss Me Anymore! [Quick Transmigration] 25

Chapter 25: Transmigrated as the Abusive Story’s Cannon Fodder Female Supporting Character

Pei Yu’s words, accompanied by her warm breath against Xin Yao’s ear, sent shivers down her spine.

She had gone the wrong way?!

But it wasn’t her fault! The snowy landscape looked the same in every direction!

Her heart pounding, Xin Yao looked up at Pei Yu’s face, inches from hers.

Pei Yu’s expression was calm, almost gentle, against the backdrop of the snow-covered mountains.

If not for her words, and the dark red, almost black, glint in her eyes, no one would have guessed she was on the verge of losing control.

Sensing the danger, Xin Yao instinctively took a step back, fearing she would be dragged back to the cave and forced to lay eggs.

But having spent time with Pei Yu, she knew how to appease her.

Just as Pei Yu’s eyes narrowed dangerously, Xin Yao’s voice softened, her expression turning vulnerable and pitiful.

“Pei Yu, don’t say such things. I’m scared.”

“I just wanted to make a phone call, to let my father know I’m safe. I wasn’t trying to run away.”

“You brought me here without telling anyone. My family will be worried.”

Hearing Xin Yao’s reassurance, Pei Yu’s expression softened.

But her eyes remained a dark, almost black, red, her possessiveness and desire still simmering beneath the surface.

Her gaze fixed on Xin Yao’s face.

“Then why didn’t you tell me?”

Xin Yao pouted. “Because you wouldn’t have agreed.”

Pei Yu stepped closer, her aura, amplified by the swirling snow, almost overwhelming. “And you still dared to run away? Do you know how dangerous it is to wander alone in the mountains…?”

Smooch!

Xin Yao stood on tiptoe and kissed Pei Yu, silencing her.

The mountain fell silent.

The possessive snake demon seemed susceptible to this tactic. Her eyes widened slightly, her anger dissipating as the soft kiss sealed her lips.

Xin Yao, still close to Pei Yu, gently caressed her wrist, her gaze lingering on Pei Yu’s lips.

“Why would I leave you alone? Don’t be angry.”

Was she lying?

Or simply trying to appease her?

Pei Yu couldn’t tell.

But even if it was a lie, so be it. If Xin Yao could keep up the pretense, Pei Yu would gladly be fooled forever.

She wouldn’t let Xin Yao leave her side.

Her dark red eyes fixed on Xin Yao’s soft face, she reached out, as if to touch her lips.

But then she changed her mind, cupping Xin Yao’s face in her hands and kissing her fiercely.

The kiss was filled with the panic and anger of discovering Xin Yao’s attempted escape, the torment of their brief separation. Her tongue explored Xin Yao’s mouth, demanding a response, wanting her to feel the intensity of her emotions.

They kissed passionately in the falling snow, the morning sunlight painting the mountaintops a brilliant gold.

Xin Yao couldn’t remember when they returned to the cave.

She only vaguely recalled being lifted into Pei Yu’s arms, carried inside.

As the heavy stone door closed behind them, blocking out the light, Pei Yu pressed Xin Yao against the wall, not even bothering to reach the bed.

Xin Yao’s back pressed against the cold stone, her head tilted back, her long, slender neck exposed in the dim light, her legs wrapping around Pei Yu’s waist.

Pei Yu’s waist was slender and firm, her thin shirt revealing the faint outline of her abs.

The smooth lines of her body flowed downwards, disappearing beneath the scales of her snake tail, its powerful coils a strangely alluring sight.

Xin Yao’s legs tightened around her waist, making her muscles tense.

But her grip weakened, her legs trembling, her body sliding downwards.

Pei Yu caught her, her hands gripping Xin Yao’s thighs, her fingers pressing into her soft flesh.

Xin Yao felt like a delicate flower in a storm, buffeted by the wind and rain, trembling helplessly.

Raindrops, like tears, slid down her petals, falling to the ground.

The possessive snake demon, unwilling to waste a single drop, lowered her head and licked them up, her gaze fixed on Xin Yao’s flushed face.

She lifted Xin Yao and placed her on the bed.

Then, as if driven by thirst, she lowered her head and kissed Xin Yao, her tongue tracing the path of the tears and raindrops on her skin.

Xin Yao instinctively reached out to push her away, then changed her mind, covering her mouth with her hand, her body trembling.

Pei Yu’s possessiveness, already strong, was amplified during her heat cycle. Rejecting her would only fuel her desire.

But Xin Yao’s restraint was also a form of allure, her delicate features contorted in a mixture of pleasure and pain, her scent intoxicating.

As Xin Yao’s mind drifted, Pei Yu captured her wrist, pressing it against her cheek, her lips silencing Xin Yao’s soft moans.

Her snake tail coiled around Xin Yao’s legs, its tip tracing the sensitive skin of her ankles, then slowly slithering upwards, exploring her thighs.

Xin Yao’s vision blurred, her body trembling. Pei Yu’s kiss broke, her voice, husky with desire, echoing in Xin Yao’s ear.

“Yaoyao, my tail… is that alright?”

The question, so sudden and unexpected, caught Xin Yao off guard. When she finally understood what Pei Yu meant, she was mortified.

“Don’t be ridiculous! That’s… that’s not allowed! Absolutely not!”

The predator, however, was patient. Pei Yu’s gaze softened as she nuzzled her head against Xin Yao’s, her voice a gentle murmur.

“It likes you very much. It’s been coiled around you since the first time we met. Do you really want to push it away?”

“Don’t worry, it’s not dirty. My tail has a protective layer of demonic energy. Nothing can taint it.”

The tip of her tail, as if sensing its mistress’s words, slithered closer, nuzzling Xin Yao’s face and lips.

Pei Yu’s body, and her tail, were burning hot, the contact sending shivers down Xin Yao’s spine.

Xin Yao had never experienced anything like this before. She glanced at the playful tail, her throat tightening, her fingers gripping Pei Yu’s arm, her voice trembling.

“Pei Yu, I’m scared.”

“Don’t be afraid,” Pei Yu soothed, stroking her face. “Just look at me.”

The snake’s tail continued its exploration, sliding down Xin Yao’s neck to her collarbone, then to her chest and stomach.

Each caress of its smooth scales sent shivers through Xin Yao’s body.

Finally, the persistent snake demon had its way.

Xin Yao clung to Pei Yu, her fingers digging into her back, leaving faint marks on her skin.

She felt like a small fish caught in a storm, tossed and turned by the waves, yet held captive by the gentle sway of seaweed.

She was at the mercy of the currents, unable to escape.

When it was finally over, Xin Yao was weak and disoriented, unable to even move.

Pei Yu untied the ribbon that bound Xin Yao’s hands, gently massaging the red marks on her wrists, then kissed her cheek.

“Don’t worry, I called your father.”

“And the butler is fine. He managed to climb out of the snowdrift.”

These were the two things that had been weighing on Xin Yao’s mind. Hearing Pei Yu’s reassurance, she relaxed, drifting off to sleep in Pei Yu’s arms.

Pei Yu held her close, her fingers tracing Xin Yao’s wrist, her dark red eyes fixed on her peaceful sleeping face.

This person, her heart always filled with others, her attention divided, leaving only a small corner for Pei Yu.

When would Xin Yao’s heart and mind belong solely to her?

When Xin Yao woke up, it was afternoon.

Her vision was blurry, the light dim, but a faint, sweet fragrance filled the air, calming her senses, almost lulling her back to sleep.

She wrinkled her nose, following the scent, her eyes focusing on a small vase on the nightstand.

It held a few delicate snow lotuses, their petals unfurling in the soft, golden light.

The snow lotus had been just an excuse, a bargaining chip. Xin Yao had forgotten about it.

But Pei Yu hadn’t.

She had brought it back, carefully placing it by Xin Yao’s bedside.

She was always like this, remembering every little detail, every preference, silently expressing her affection.

Without a word, she made sure Xin Yao knew that she was cherished.

As Xin Yao admired the flowers, Pei Yu, sensing her awakening, wrapped her arms around her waist.

“Are you hungry? I’ll make you something to eat.”

Xin Yao turned to look at her, catching a glimpse of Pei Yu’s beautiful, aloof profile.

But then she remembered the snake tail, so bold and unrestrained, that had made her lose her voice.

Her ears burned, and she felt the tip of the tail still coiled around her ankle. She wanted to kick Pei Yu.

“I… I’ll take a shower first,” she said, her voice slightly hoarse.

Surprisingly, Pei Yu didn’t insist on joining her, as she usually did during her possessive phase, wanting to keep Xin Yao within her sight at all times.

Instead, she went to prepare lunch, the picture of domesticity.

As Xin Yao stood under the hot shower, the steam filling the bathroom, she looked down at the small snake mark on her chest and remembered something she had almost forgotten.

Pei Yu had helped her bathe the past two days, so the mark hadn’t been an issue. But what about now?

Just touching the mark could summon Pei Yu. Would she appear every time Xin Yao took a shower, or did anything that involved even the slightest contact with the mark?

Was the snake’s mating mark a blessing or a curse?

Water droplets trickled down Xin Yao’s chin as she thought, then, impulsively, she rubbed the little snake’s head.

Instantly, the air in the bathroom shifted, a heavy pressure descending upon her.

Pei Yu had arrived.

Having been intimate countless times, and having a question to ask, Xin Yao wasn’t shy.

She covered her chest with her hand and turned around.

Seeing Pei Yu standing there, in a pink apron, holding a spatula, her human head and snake tail a strange mix of domestic and demonic, Xin Yao almost laughed.

The image was strangely endearing.

Seeing her expression, Pei Yu’s lips curved into a faint smile.

“What is it? Did you summon me for something?”

“Yes, it’s this,” Xin Yao pointed at the mark on her chest. “I can summon you just by touching it. What am I supposed to do? You can’t appear every time I take a shower.”

And what if she was transported to Pei Yu’s side? That would be even worse.

“It’s so inconvenient. Isn’t there a way to control it?”

“There is,” Pei Yu nodded.

She reached out, her slender, jade-like hand gently covering the mark on Xin Yao’s chest, her cool voice echoing in the steamy bathroom.

“Focus your mind, concentrate, and think of my name.”

The warmth of her hand against Xin Yao’s skin made her heart skip a beat.

But seeing Pei Yu’s serious expression, she didn’t say anything, closing her eyes and following her instructions.

As her mind cleared, a white light flashed before her eyes.

Pei Yu withdrew her hand, her voice soft. “Now, the mark will only be activated when you touch it and think of my name. There won’t be any more accidents.”

“Great!” Xin Yao nodded, relieved. “That’s much better.”

But wait.

Something occurred to her. She looked at Pei Yu, her eyes narrowed suspiciously.

“You knew how to do this all along, didn’t you? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”

If she hadn’t asked, Pei Yu would have continued to appear every time Xin Yao accidentally touched the mark.

Pei Yu didn’t answer immediately, just looked at Xin Yao, her gaze steady.

Xin Yao realized.

She had deliberately withheld this information because she wanted to see Xin Yao?

Ah, so President Pei had her own little schemes.

Had she not considered the inconvenience it caused Xin Yao? Or perhaps that was the point? This snake!

As Xin Yao fumed, Pei Yu finally responded.

“It’s not what you think.”

Xin Yao: “Huh?”

Pei Yu touched the mark on Xin Yao’s chest.

“Your thoughts are written all over your face.”

“I wanted to see you, that’s true, but I didn’t intend to use this as an excuse.”

“The mark is only activated when you think of me and touch it. I wanted to know, Xin Yao, if you ever think of me.”

She stepped closer, her voice a soft whisper in Xin Yao’s ear.

“And it seems, Miss Xin, you do.”

Did she think of Pei Yu?

Xin Yao couldn’t remember.

She couldn’t recall ever consciously thinking of Pei Yu.

But perhaps, without even realizing it, she had.

The realization startled her, her heart skipping a beat.

She was unusually quiet and preoccupied during lunch.

But the person sitting across from her was even quieter.

Pei Yu didn’t say a word, and she didn’t insist on sitting close to Xin Yao.

By the time Xin Yao noticed, it was late afternoon.

She snapped out of her reverie and turned to look at Pei Yu, startled by the intensity of her gaze.

“What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?”

Pei Yu, standing in the soft light, didn’t answer immediately. She lowered her gaze, then looked up again.

“Did I scare you?”

“Have I been acting… strange? Annoying?”

“I can’t always control my instincts. And I’ve dragged you into this.”

As she spoke, Xin Yao looked at Pei Yu’s eyes, their usual dark red now a lighter, brighter shade. She realized that Pei Yu’s possessive phase was ending, her rationality returning.

She had suspected as much since Pei Yu had started calling her “Miss Xin” again in the bathroom.

Why had she suddenly recovered?

Had their intimacy calmed her, given her a sense of stability and comfort?

If so, Xin Yao should have just slept with her on the first day. It would have been over much sooner.

As Xin Yao’s mind wandered, she glanced down at her ankle.

“Then why don’t you let go of me?”

Pei Yu’s tail was still wrapped around her ankle.

Despite the reminder, Pei Yu didn’t release her, her grip tightening, her gaze fixed on Xin Yao’s face.

She wanted an answer, and Xin Yao would give it to her.

Xin Yao walked towards Pei Yu, her ankle still bound by the snake’s tail, her gaze meeting Pei Yu’s.

“You were a bit silly.”

Pei Yu’s eyes flickered.

Xin Yao smiled. “But also quite cute.”

She nudged the snake’s tail with her foot.

“This little guy is a bit naughty though. It’s been teasing me all day.”

“Pei Yu,” her voice softening, “you’re back to normal now, aren’t you? Honestly, I was a little bothered these past two days, but not as much as you think.”

“I know you’re a rational person, and you don’t want to be controlled by your instincts. I didn’t take anything you said or did to heart.”

“Don’t worry, I’m not that fragile. I won’t be scared off by a little incident.” She puffed out her chest slightly. “I’m quite strong, you know. Maybe one day I’ll even protect you. I will protect you.”

Protect her.

This small, soft person, barely reaching her shoulder, had said she would protect her.

It was the first time anyone had said such a thing to her, a ferocious, monstrous snake.

Xin Yao’s gentle words, like a soothing stream of water, warmed Pei Yu’s heart.

The darkness in Pei Yu’s eyes receded, replaced by clarity, her pupils returning to their normal, bright red.

Her rationality returned, her possessive phase ending.

Her voice, softened by Xin Yao’s words, was gentle.

“You don’t have to protect me. I will always protect you.”

Protecting Xin Yao, his wife, was Pei Yu’s most important duty.

But Miss Xin was both right and wrong.

Pei Yu did dislike her snake form, her beastly nature.

But she didn’t regret her heat cycle, or her possessive phase.

And her desire for Xin Yao hadn’t vanished with the end of her possessive phase.

It had simply retreated, hidden beneath her calm exterior, a simmering current beneath a still surface.

This was something Miss Xin couldn’t know.

A brief silence followed Pei Yu’s words.

Xin Yao, however, oblivious to Pei Yu’s inner turmoil, was simply relieved that she had returned to normal.

“So, when can we go back?” she asked.

Pei Yu glanced at the sky through the small window.

“Tonight. It’s too bright now. It wouldn’t be safe. I’ll take you back tonight, quickly.”

That was perfect. Xin Yao nodded happily.

Pei Yu, standing in the fading light, looked at Xin Yao’s beautiful face.

She realized they still had several hours before nightfall.

Just then, Xin Yao, feeling thirsty, turned to get some water.

Pei Yu, lost in thought, instinctively reached out and grabbed her wrist. “Wife, don’t go.”

“What did you call me?” Xin Yao turned abruptly, her ears burning, her eyes wide with disbelief.

Calling her that during her possessive phase was one thing, but now?

It was too intimate, too suggestive of a different kind of relationship.

Even as a joke, even as playful banter, Xin Yao couldn’t bring herself to say it.

But the more she resisted, the more persistent Pei Yu became, her tail coiling around Xin Yao’s legs.

She would bring Xin Yao to the brink of pleasure, then stop, leaving her wanting more, like a rollercoaster pausing at the peak of its climb.

Xin Yao was almost in tears.

Pei Yu, sensing her distress, softened, her tongue tracing Xin Yao’s cheek, her voice a seductive whisper.

“Yaoyao, call me that. Be sweet to me, and you can have anything you want.”

Xin Yao, unwilling to surrender so easily, bit her lip, trying to resist. But in the end, she couldn’t hold back any longer.

A soft moan escaped her lips.

“Wife…”

Having said the word, the rest seemed easier.

She clutched the blanket, her voice soft and pleading.

“Wife, please let me go.”

Hearing those words, Pei Yu’s breath hitched, her pupils contracting into narrow slits. She lowered her head and kissed Xin Yao.

But Xin Yao had been tricked. Pei Yu’s kiss deepened, becoming more passionate, almost devouring, leaving Xin Yao breathless and speechless.

When Pei Yu finally carried her, and her bed, back home, Xin Yao, drifting off to sleep, suddenly woke up, grabbing Pei Yu’s wrist, her voice filled with mock anger.

“You liar! It was definitely more than four hours!”

“You beast!”

Pei Yu’s lips curved into a faint smile. She leaned down and kissed Xin Yao’s forehead.

“Sleep now. You can scold me tomorrow.”

Her face, bathed in the moonlight, was too beautiful, her voice too gentle.

Xin Yao, lulled by her soothing presence, drifted off to sleep.
