Chapter 52: Disciplined by Lewdness
By noon on the third day, they finally reached the northern part of the desert, landing and easily locating their target.
It was hard to miss.
Amidst the endless yellow sand, a single dune, fiery red and radiating intense heat, stood out, reminding him of the Flaming Mountains.
This was the Crimson Eyed Sand Scorpions’ lair. The Great Crimson Skyfire, burning beneath the dune, had scorched the sand, turning it red.
The Crimson Sand Scorpion King, before his evolution, had been a Crimson Eyed Sand Scorpion, a species naturally resistant to high temperatures. Exposed to the Great Crimson Skyfire’s heat, he had gradually mutated, then, finding the flame buried deep underground, had become the first to evolve, reaching the Mystic Sovereign realm.
A few Crimson Eyed Sand Scorpions patrolled the red dune, their vigilance high, but their auras weak, only at the Tier 3 level.
Most of the stronger scorpions had gone with the Scorpion King to attack the Water City.
According to the script, only a Scorpion King and a group of weaker scorpions remained in the lair, all of whom had been slaughtered by the Serpent Queen before his arrival.
Now, with three women working together, the few Tier 3 scorpions were silently eliminated. They entered the scorpion’s tunnel.
…
The tunnel twisted and turned, making him dizzy, but the Serpent Queen and Jiu Youyue seemed familiar with the path, quickly locating the Scorpion King, killing it, then eliminating the remaining weaker scorpions, continuing deeper, reaching the Crimson Sand Scorpion King’s chamber.
The temperature here was even higher, unbearable for an ordinary Mystic Scholar.
The chamber was large and empty, filled with depressions in the sand, but these were just a distraction. The true entrance was beneath the only stone pillar in the chamber.
The pillar, seemingly supporting the cave, was just a disguise, concealing the passage’s entrance.
A barrier protected the pillar, but this was no problem for Jiu Youyue, a master of seals.
She dispelled the barrier, breaking the pillar, moving it aside, revealing a pit identical to the others, except for the plumes of scorching steam rising from it.
After accidentally discovering the Great Crimson Skyfire, the Crimson Sand Scorpion King had destroyed the original passage, creating a new one leading to his chamber.
“This leads to the underground lava lake.” The Serpent Queen looked at Yun Xiu and Jiu Youyue. “You two go first. Yan Zhen and I will follow.”
She grabbed his wrist, pulling him closer.
It was her turn to take him. For his safety, she couldn’t let him lead the way.
Yun Xiu and Jiu Youyue exchanged glances, annoyed by her possessiveness.
“I’ll go first. I know the way.”
Jiu Youyue, her body enveloped in Mystic Power, like a crescent moon, plunged into the pit.
Yun Xiu, her sword flying ahead, followed closely behind.
The Serpent Queen, holding him, transformed into a blood-red serpent, also entering the passage.
…
He was held tightly in her embrace, her soft body against his, reawakening his desires.
But he knew this wasn’t the time for such thoughts. He quickly circulated the Water Rune in his sea of consciousness, calming himself.
…
The temperature within the passage was even higher, increasing as they descended.
He felt his mouth drying, the heat unbearable, when he heard her voice.
“Lift your head.”
“Huh?”
He looked up, and she captured his lips, her slender tongue invading his mouth, her cool saliva a welcome relief.
He eagerly sucked on her tongue, his hands moving to her back, cupping her breasts, his fingers kneading her soft flesh, leaving distinct marks.
Unable to withstand his passionate assault, she gently bit his lip, cooling his ardor.
He was slightly disappointed.
“S-sorry, I…”
“…It’s fine.” Her face flushed, her hand wiping her lips, her voice gentle. “Just… be patient. We’re almost there.”
He nodded. After these past few days, he had finally figured out what was happening.
The Yan Zhen in the script had still been a virgin when he refined the Evil Spirit Dragon Breath Fire, even somewhat abstinent. Therefore, under the flame’s influence, he had only felt a general restlessness, without any specific… thoughts.
But the current him was different.
Having experienced various… activities, his desires, once ignited, conjured images of the women he had been intimate with, their soft skin, their ample curves, their unique charms and seductive allure. His body, as if remembering their touch, craved their kisses and their embrace. He couldn’t control himself, both physically and mentally.
In short, he was being disciplined by lewdness!
— Damn it!
He was frustrated, determined to resist. He couldn’t lose to his desires!
…
After half an hour, they finally reached the end of the passage. He quickly moved away from her embrace.
As she had said, the passage opened into a cavernous space, a lava lake churning below.
The crystal pendant around his neck glowed faintly, sensing the Great Crimson Skyfire’s presence.
At the same time, the system interface appeared, informing him that the mission was 30% complete.
The system had issued the corresponding task when they first set off. There were three requirements:
-
Follow the Serpent Queen through the underwater passage, escaping the Sand Scorpion army’s encirclement, reaching the Crimson Sand Scorpion King’s lair, and finding the Great Crimson Skyfire.
-
Suppress the Great Crimson Skyfire, helping the Serpent Queen successfully evolve her bloodline.
-
Protect the weakened Serpent Queen from the Demon Realm cultivators.
He was a bit worried. The first two requirements weren’t a problem, but the third one would be difficult.
In the script, he had been alone, so he had jumped into the lava lake, escaping into the Fire Refining Starry Sky to avoid the Demon Realm cultivators. Now, with Yun Xiu and Jiu Youyue present, their combined strength enough to challenge even a Mystic Sovereign… it would be awkward.
Unless a Mystic Venerable appeared, or Jiu Youyue betrayed them.
A Mystic Venerable appearing here was unlikely. Such a powerful presence would attract the Sacred Ground’s attention, jeopardizing their plan.
His only hope was Jiu Youyue’s betrayal.
But he didn’t think she would do that. Even in the script, when they weren’t as close, she had subtly hindered his escape. Now, after sharing several intimate moments, he could sense her genuine affection for him. He couldn’t imagine her betraying them.
“…”
Could it be that he couldn’t complete this mission?
The more he thought about it, the more worried he became.
The Serpent Queen spoke.
“The Great Crimson Skyfire is deep within the lava lake. I’ll lure it out. Prepare to suppress it.”
