Chapter 9: Behind You
The river was about ten feet wide, its banks lined with dense vegetation, except for the area where Yan Zhen and Yi Xian’er stood, a jumble of rocks piled at their feet.
“Wait here for a bit, Xian’er. I’ll prepare something.”
“Prepare?”
He scanned the area, using the glowstone for illumination, then chose a boulder taller than himself. He kicked it.
The boulder soared through the air, landing in the river with a loud splash.
He repeated the process, kicking six boulders into the river, three upstream and three downstream, creating a simple dam, forming a small pool in the center.
Whoosh.
He summoned the Gold and Silver Fire, tossing a flame into the pool. The cold river water instantly heated up, steam rising, transforming into a hot spring.
He returned to her, smiling. “It’s too cold. And you’re injured. Bathing in cold water wouldn’t be good… This should be better.”
She felt a warmth spread through her heart. “Let’s go in together.”
He nodded.
…
They turned their backs to each other, removing their clothes, wrapping towels around themselves.
They turned simultaneously, their gazes meeting, a flicker of desire in their eyes.
She reached for his hand, interlacing her fingers with his. When he returned her grip, a sweet smile curved her lips.
They walked to the riverbank. She dipped her toes into the water, testing the temperature, her movements childish, before stepping in. He smiled, following her.
The water was crystal clear. He could see the smooth pebbles lining the riverbed. Walking on them felt like a foot massage, incredibly relaxing.
They reached the center of the pool, the water reaching their chests.
She hesitated, then untied her towel, her ample bosom bouncing free, creating ripples on the water’s surface.
One hand clutching the towel, the other covering her breasts, her cheeks flushed, she explained, “It’s uncomfortable to bathe with a towel on. Take yours off too, Yan Zhen~”
He blushed, nodding, untying his towel. She took it from him.
She folded both towels neatly, placing them on a nearby boulder.
Now they were both naked, the clear water, even after being heated, offering no concealment. Only the dim moonlight shielded their modesty.
They had bathed together many times at Elegant Courtyard, naked, even engaging in almost-intimate acts during her treatment, but they were still nervous, their hearts pounding, like a young couple on their first date at a love hotel. The atmosphere was different.
They both knew what was about to happen, but they pretended not to, scooping water onto themselves, gently washing their bodies, their gazes lingering on each other.
“How are your injuries, Xian’er?”
He broke the silence first.
She turned to face him, shyly opening her arms, revealing her body to him.
“See for yourself.”
He swallowed, carefully examining her wounds, relieved to find they had healed, leaving no scars.
“That’s good.”
“My external injuries are healed, but I still have internal injuries.”
“Internal injuries?” His expression changed, and he grabbed her shoulders. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Where does it hurt?”
She bit her lip, her lips curving into a slight smile, her purple-black eyes fixed on him.
“Here.” She placed his hand on her heart.
He frowned, about to check her pulse, then realized what she meant. He rolled his eyes.
“Don’t joke about something like that.”
“I’m not joking.” She held his hand against her chest. “My heart is beating too fast. It hurts. You need to… massage it.”
She leaned closer, her eyes reflecting his image, her breath quickening.
“Xian’er…”
Under her intense gaze, his heart also quickened, his body warming. He leaned in, their lips meeting.
They pressed closer, their kiss deepening, their passion threatening to break through their last barrier.
She pulled away, her hand gripping his, shaking her head.
“Not here… behind.”
She turned, her hands resting on the boulder, her slender waist bending, her hips rising, her gaze meeting his, her cheeks flushed, her eyes filled with desire.
“Yan Zhen… make love to me~”
…
An hour later, he carried her, her body limp and pliant, back to the tent, laying her down, pulling the blanket over them.
She nestled against him, her head resting on his arm, falling asleep peacefully.
— She had finally given herself to him. Although it was only… halfway, it still filled her with happiness.
…
He woke up before dawn, but she had already woken up, greeting him with a sweet “good morning” the moment he opened his eyes.
He stroked her hair, his voice gentle.
“Why are you awake so early? Couldn’t sleep?”
She lowered her head, her cheeks flushing.
“I had a dream… and I woke up.”
He felt a pang of anxiety.
“What kind of dream?”
She mumbled, “I… I dreamed that you… you were… doing it to me again. And no matter how much I begged, you wouldn’t stop… And I was… acting so strange, like a… a… slut. And then I woke up.”
He was mortified. It had been his first time experiencing that particular… position. He had gotten a bit carried away.
“Xian’er, are you… are you okay?”
Her cheeks burned even brighter. She had never imagined she would act so… wantonly.
She had mocked Ji Ya for her unrestrained moans during the treatment, but now she understood. It was involuntary.
And that was just from… behind. If it had been… from the front, she would have been even more unrestrained than Ji Ya.
“I’m fine.” She whispered. “It doesn’t hurt much anymore.”
“Then rest a bit longer.”
“Okay.”
…
He didn’t rush to find the Evil Spirit Dragon Breath Fire, and she didn’t rush to leave. They spent three blissful days in the tent, like a honeymoon.
Tomorrow was the full moon.
The night of the full moon, the hour of heaviest Yin energy, her Yin Body would definitely erupt. She wasn’t confident she could control it.
She had to leave him before then.
…
That night, after a passionate session, she lay limply in his arms, her breath shallow, her fragrance masking the scent of their lovemaking.
He caressed her back, soothing her, his voice gentle.
“Let’s stop here for tonight. It’s getting late. Time to sleep.”
She closed her eyes, murmuring in agreement, then lifted her breasts, offering them to him, her voice a soft whine.
“Bite them.”
He kissed them tenderly, then buried his face between them.
She wrapped her arms around his head, her fingers threading through his hair, sighing contentedly, then closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.
…
On the fifteenth day after entering the mountains, she quietly left before he woke up, leaving behind a note.
