The Vampire Eldest Miss Thinks I Like Her 35

Chapter 35: The Strong Human

Humans, the weakest intelligent beings in this world – that was the consensus among all races.

It wasn’t that they looked down on humans, it was just that they truly posed no threat. Their limbs were weak, their strength was low, their endurance was decent but still inferior to other races.

Not to mention magic, which everyone relied on for survival. Perhaps a few humans could use it, but the vast majority couldn’t.

The otherworldly beings’ main impression of humans was that they helped vampires build all those disgusting things. In the end, they themselves could only exist as vampire livestock. Although some otherworldly beings, in order to survive, submitted to vampires and obeyed their orders, those were rare cases. And they weren’t like humans, raised by vampires only to be slaughtered.

Vampires looked down on humans, and so did otherworldly beings.

Therefore, even though the woman in front of them had just kicked open the door and thrown two minotaurs at the werewolf’s feet, the werewolf still looked down on her. His disdain even overshadowed his caution, making him forget about the woman’s strangeness. He even thought that perhaps he hadn’t heard the woman’s voice or smelled her scent earlier because he had been preoccupied with the Blake family’s young lady.

His mocking laughter was still plastered on his face when the woman suddenly stepped on his head, pinning him to the ground. No one saw her move. They only saw a black shadow flash by, so fast that even vampires couldn’t catch it with their eyes.

The werewolf’s entire head was pressed against the ground. The woman exerted tremendous force, exceeding the normal strength of a human, pushing his head into the floor. The surrounding ground even cracked, with numerous fissures spreading outward.

Her sudden attack was so swift that no one could react, not even the rabbit-man. By the time he realized what had happened, his captain was already pinned to the ground. The other werewolf standing next to the leader reacted more directly. Since his fur was white, let’s call him the White Werewolf.

The White Werewolf drew a dagger from his waist and lunged at Jasmine. Jasmine extended two fingers and caught the blade between them. Her strength was truly immense, a testament to her cheat abilities. With just two fingers, she stopped the White Werewolf from pulling back his dagger. No matter how hard he tried, the blade wouldn’t budge.

—This scene was really cool, so cool that it reminded Jasmine of an anime scene she had seen. She also knew what to do next. With a flick of her fingers, she snapped the dagger in half. Holding the broken blade that was pointing towards her between her fingers, she flung it at the White Werewolf’s face.

The White Werewolf’s pupils constricted, and he narrowly dodged the attack by turning his head at the last moment. However, even so, his cheek was grazed, leaving a bloody mark. The flying blade embedded itself in the throat of a minotaur behind him.

The force behind the blade was so great that it pierced through the minotaur’s neck and lodged itself in the wall.

It was almost completely embedded in the wall, its end still quivering.

If the White Werewolf hadn’t dodged, his head would have probably suffered the same fate as the minotaur’s neck. Jasmine had intentionally aimed for a non-fatal spot. If she wanted, the White Werewolf wouldn’t have been able to react at all. The reason she had allowed him to dodge was that the scene of the blade piercing through the next target’s neck and embedding itself in the wall was simply too cool.

Not only Jasmine thought so, but all the vampires present did as well. Some even gasped at Jasmine’s strength, unable to comprehend how a human could possibly do such a thing.

The White Werewolf still didn’t give up. Perhaps he was related to the werewolf pinned under Jasmine’s foot, or they were from the same tribe. He sincerely wanted to save his comrade. He reached out with his remaining hand, trying to attack Jasmine with the broken blade.

Jasmine wasn’t going to indulge him any further. She extended her leg and kicked the White Werewolf’s knee. The immense force was unbearable. The White Werewolf could feel the bones in his knee shattering. He couldn’t support his body and collapsed to the ground.

As he fell, the rabbit-man behind him showed a terrified expression. His long, erect rabbit ears drooped. He stammered, “This… this lady, is there some misunderstanding? We are very friendly towards humans. We haven’t done anything! Please! Please spare us!”

Rabbit-men were naturally timid creatures, which was why they could only serve as scouts in otherworldly teams, fleeing at the slightest sign of trouble. With the two strongest melee fighters, the werewolves, easily defeated, the rabbit-man didn’t believe he could defeat Jasmine.

He also thought about running away. After all, he was a rabbit, a rabbit known for its speed. He was confident in his speed. But he had just witnessed the woman’s speed. It was a black blur, too fast for his eyes to follow. How could he possibly escape from her?

So he chose to beg for mercy without hesitation. But the woman across from him sneered, “Can you guarantee that you’ve never harmed a human?” Hearing this question, the rabbit-man’s first thought was to lie. He wasn’t stupid. How could he possibly answer this question truthfully? And… as an otherworldly being, how could he have never harmed a human?

He wasn’t twisted enough to torture or kill humans for fun, but if a weak human crossed his path, he wouldn’t hesitate to punish them. During their raids on remote vampire farms, countless humans had died at his hands.

But what did it matter to him? Everyone did it. It was because humans were too weak, otherwise, how could they die so easily?

A drop of cold sweat trickled down the rabbit-man’s forehead. He put on an ingratiating smile, opening his mouth to utter a lie. But as he opened his mouth, he couldn’t speak a single word. He saw the woman’s pitch-black eyes, so indifferent and emotionless. It was as if she was evaluating his words in the darkness. Lying was pointless in front of her.

The next moment, the rabbit-man saw the woman walking towards him. He instinctively wanted to step back, but the scene before him suddenly spun. Only after his head hit the ground did he realize: his head had been severed. He hadn’t even seen what weapon the woman had used.

After dealing with the rabbit-man, Jasmine’s next target was Medusa.

Medusa was also terrified, her face pale, although Jasmine thought she had always been quite pale. As Jasmine walked towards her, her footsteps echoed in Medusa’s heart like thunder. The snake hair on Medusa’s head rose up like a startled cat, hissing at Jasmine and flicking their tongues.

Jasmine could sense Medusa trying to petrify her, but the only effect it had on her was: her skin felt a bit dry, she needed some moisturizer.

Just as Jasmine was about to reach Medusa, she heard Adele’s voice behind her, “Please wait!”

Jasmine was puzzled and turned slightly to look back. She was certain that Adele wasn’t stopping her out of sympathy. Although Adele was upright and would protect those weaker than herself, she wasn’t a saint. She had no mercy for otherworldly beings. In her mind, these otherworldly beings were probably no different from the vampire doctor earlier.

If it wasn’t to plead for mercy, then why did she stop her? Jasmine was intrigued. Adele was actively interacting with her, so she couldn’t disappoint her.

Jasmine’s gaze was cold, “What is it?”

Her expression and tone seemed to say: If you say the wrong thing, I’ll kill you.

If it were anyone else, seeing the previous scene and Jasmine’s gaze, they would probably choose to flee immediately, trying their best to avoid attracting attention. But Adele wasn’t like that. She had a request and wouldn’t be deterred by Jasmine’s threatening tone.

She took a deep breath before speaking, “Please don’t harm the child in front of Medusa. Although he’s a vampire, he’s just a child. He’s innocent.” Hearing Adele’s words, Jasmine looked back and saw the vampire child being held tightly by Medusa.

To Jasmine, a human, the life or death of a vampire child was irrelevant. Although he was young, as a noble, he must have already drunk a lot of human blood. In the future, he would only drink more. So when Jasmine attacked, she didn’t care whether the child would be accidentally killed by the agitated otherworldly beings.

The otherworldly beings also knew that the vampire child meant nothing to Jasmine. They hadn’t even mentioned him. Medusa hadn’t used him as a threat like she had before. Using a vampire child to threaten a human… how idiotic would one have to be to do that?

Seeing Jasmine turn to look at Medusa, everyone present held their breath, especially the child’s mother. She almost fainted. Even the arrogant vampires had to admit that they were at the mercy of this human. She was too powerful, someone they couldn’t possibly defeat. If she chose to disregard the child’s safety or even kill him along with Medusa, they would be powerless to resist.

But Jasmine only gave Adele her back, “Whether you can save him depends on your own performance.”

After saying this, without waiting for Adele’s reaction, the threads wrapped around her body suddenly moved, one of them transforming into a sharp weapon and severing Medusa’s arms, which were holding the vampire child. Adele was stunned for a moment, then she understood Jasmine’s intention. She dashed forward with all her might, pulling the vampire child away from Medusa.

The next moment, Medusa’s snake hair and body were shredded by the threads.

—Quite cool, but this thread is dirty now, can’t use it anymore.

Jasmine retracted the threads and then saw Adele staring at her—to be precise, at the empty shell of “Jasmine” behind her. She realized something: Medusa’s petrification magic would probably be lifted after her death.

So the question was, how could she return to the empty shell?
