Second Time Around, the Villainous Daughter Decides to Indulge First 18

Chapter 18: Dance of the Flower Sea

Sunlight filled the room. Ling Ling collected the bloodstained sheets from the bedroom, her young mind not yet understanding their significance. She simply looked curiously at Lena’s slender fingers and asked, “All wrinkled, did Miss go out for a night swim?”

The mansion had a swimming pool, but Lena didn’t have the habit of swimming. The little fox girl was puzzled.

“Isn’t the ring beautiful?” Lena asked in return.

Her alluring lips were slightly swollen, and she lazily extended her hand, displaying the glorious results of the night.

Like a scarecrow surviving five nights of terror, an MVP title was enough to demonstrate her god-like abilities.

Ling Ling stared for a long time, her face suddenly flushing. She stammered, “Beautiful, Miss’s hand is very beautiful…”

“I’m talking about the ring.”

Lena took off the King of Narcissus, which radiated divine power. Azure light flowed around her fingers, revealing the ring’s full splendor.

She gestured for the little fox girl to extend her paw.

Ling Ling obeyed, opening her right hand.

Lena didn’t place it in her hand, but instead turned her hand over and slipped the ring onto Ling Ling’s little finger, her voice gentle, “You’re not allowed to get married in this life. You have to stay with me…”

“Mm-hmm, of course, Miss.”

Ling Ling agreed without hesitation, taking the ring off and returning it to Lena.

During this process, Ling Ling clearly felt a strange power coursing through her body, like dredging a riverbed, shattering rocks, filtering impurities, leaving only pure magic power and an increased rank.

It must be a good thing, Miss is so amazing…

Ling Ling thought to herself.

So, she unhesitatingly returned it to Lena, not coveting the surge of power.

She knew that power didn’t belong to her, and Lena was merely demonstrating the benefits of following her, just like the alpha lion in a pride showcasing its strength to attract more beautiful lionesses.

Ling Ling carried the bloodline of the calamity-level monster, the Nine-Tailed Fox, although diluted, she understood this principle better than other creatures.

“So, Sister Angel has become a member of our family!” The little fox girl hugged Lena’s arm, her voice soft. “This morning, when Ling Ling was cleaning the room, she noticed that Miss Angel’s leg seemed injured. Her walking posture was strange, and she had to support herself against the wall. Ling Ling wanted to help, but Miss Angel said no…”

The little fox girl chattered on, already treating Lena as a trustworthy leader.

According to the order of arrival, Angel was behind her…

This meant…

Ling Ling had a junior now!

Hee hee…

How wonderful! She had to build a good relationship with Miss Angel!

“Don’t worry about her. She just got what she wanted and sprained her ankle from excitement. It’s an equivalent exchange.”

Lena held the little fox girl’s hand, walking through the lush courtyard.

Revisiting this place made her contemplative, like a fleeting dream, so unreal.

Clusters of colorful roses bloomed on the thick, velvet-like walls of leaves, spreading wildly, like waves or a waterfall, their layers of buds and petals threatening to engulf the two in a sea of flowers.

“Ling Ling trimmed them,” the little fox girl puffed out her small chest proudly, her small breasts swelling slightly.

“Ling Ling is so amazing.” Lena was surprised by her talent. Gardening and pruning required a lot of time and effort, only made easier by related professions.

And this little fox girl, barely four feet tall, had done it?

She’d rather donate to Qin Shi Huang.

“Don’t underestimate Ling Ling. Ling Ling can hear plants talking. They are all Ling Ling’s friends. Wherever Ling Ling tells them to grow, they grow.”

Ling Ling casually dropped a bombshell.

Lena was stunned, her heart pounding. She quickly asked, “You mean you can communicate with these flowers and trees?”

“Not if they’re too far away.” Ling Ling let go of Lena’s hand and walked to a cluster of indigo roses covered in young buds, then opened her arms. “Only at this close range are the flowers willing to listen to Ling Ling. Look, Miss…”

A faint, Sanskrit-like floral fragrance carried the bond of two lifetimes.

A gentle breeze blew, and the roses instantly bloomed to their fullest, the small buds bursting into beautiful flowers, suddenly filling the path, filling the entire courtyard, like the extravagant imperial city under the moon, dazzling and intoxicating, yet different, with a hint of aloofness, proud and graceful.

This was the grand performance Ling Ling had prepared for Lena.

A spur-of-the-moment decision.

The surrounding buds bloomed vigorously. The little fox girl stood on tiptoe, her light skirt swaying in the wind, her golden hair shimmering in the morning sun, twirling gracefully.

Undoubtedly, it was Ling Ling’s Dancer profession talent taking effect.

She danced instinctively, choreographing and performing a dance of her own.

Sometimes her steps were light and quick, sometimes her voice soft and sweet, accompanied by the rustling of bushes and the swaying of tree shadows. The surrounding scenery became a backdrop, a supporting cast for Ling Ling’s dance.

“Ling Ling…”

Lena was speechless, even forgetting to comment.

She didn’t know where Ling Ling’s ability to control plants came from, or perhaps, she simply knew too little about Ling Ling.

In her past life, Ling Ling always carried a blunt giant sword, her kind heart unwilling to harm others, always using her tail to sweep away pursuers as she fled with Lena.

If she could truly control plants, it would explain how they had escaped death several times.

Could it be…

A dual profession?!

Suppressing the urge to investigate further, Lena quietly enjoyed the little fox girl’s Dance of the Flower Sea, clapping with a smile. “Wonderful performance. Although not quite breathtaking, it was very good.”

She was being honest.

For a beginner, maintaining steady steps and graceful movements was already commendable.

Ling Ling’s dance far exceeded her expectations.

“Really?! Sister Angel taught me! She also taught Ling Ling how to sing!”

Ling Ling was overjoyed, wanting to jump into Lena’s arms to celebrate. But then she remembered that their relationship had just improved, and she couldn’t do anything too drastic to ruin their friendship…

“Um…” The little fox girl hesitated.

“Can I pat your head?”

Lena ruffled the little fox girl’s head, stroking her soft, silky golden hair.

Ling Ling’s ears perked up, her face beaming with happiness. “Thank you for the reward, Miss. Ling Ling will… work even harder!”

“I look forward to it.”

Lena adjusted her glasses, feeling unprecedentedly at ease.

“By the way, that garbage bag from yesterday…”

“Mister Garbage Bag has been placed in the storage room where the sunlight doesn’t reach directly.” Ling Ling volunteered as a guide, running ahead and beckoning Lena with her tail. “This way, Miss, follow Ling Ling.”

Lena swung her arms, her steps light…

With the little fox girl leading the way, they quickly passed through the dense vegetation of the courtyard and arrived at a fenced-off open space.

The storage room was located in the center of the open space.

Conspicuous, yet also concealing a hidden meaning.

Angel, dressed in her nun’s habit, was sitting on a wooden stool in the storage room, supporting herself with her hand on her waist, her expression haggard, like a new recruit who had just experienced a bloody battle, her spirit worn down by the flames of war, looking exhausted.
