Chapter 8: A Strange Town
Luo Yuxi opened the door to her room, surprised by the luxurious decor. It looked more like a room in a mansion than a hotel.
“These witches sure know how to live…”
She placed her luggage on the table and pressed the “room service” button. Within seconds, there was a knock at the door. She opened it and saw the same girl from the front desk.
“It takes at least a minute to get from downstairs to upstairs. Your room service is incredibly fast…”
“Customer satisfaction is our highest priority~”
Luo Yuxi took out a few magic stones, unsure of the currency’s value in the Witch Kingdom, but recalling that a few hundred could buy a rare item at the auction, they must be quite valuable.
“I still don’t understand why that girl spent tens of millions on me…”
Luo Yuxi handed the stones to the girl and requested a change of clothes. As the girl left, Luo Yuxi breathed a sigh of relief and was about to close the door when a pale hand stopped it. The girl was peeking through the gap.
“I brought your clothes, customer~”
“You! Weren’t you just leaving?!”
Luo Yuxi backed away in fear, quickly locking the chain, but the girl ignored it and forced the door open.
“Oh my, customer, why are you so scared? I brought your clothes, put them on, put them on~”

The girl’s movements became jerky and unnatural, like a puppet’s, her limbs twisting at unnatural angles.

“A puppet?”

A piercing laughter echoed around Luo Yuxi, as if she were a doll on display.
“Wh-What’s going on?! Who are you?! Show yourself, hiding like a coward!”

The scene shifted. Luo Yuxi was no longer in the luxurious room, but in a pink, girly room filled with stuffed animals and dolls.
“Where… where is this…?”
“Welcome to my dollhouse, pretty lady~”
A beautiful girl with shimmering, crystal-like hair and icy blue eyes, her hands covered in bandages and cuts, her face also bandaged, entered the room, the click of her high heels echoing on the floor.
“You’re so beautiful. I want to turn you into a doll and preserve your beauty forever~”
Luo Yuxi looked at the girl, who was about her height, her empty eyes now gleaming with a strange light. This was definitely a witch.
“Am I really that unlucky? Encountering a witch the moment I arrive in town…?”
“Town? You’re mistaken. You’ve been in my dollhouse all along~”
The girl laughed, her eyes unfocused, her fingers twitching as invisible strings filled the room, animating the dolls. It was like a scene from a twisted fairy tale.
“What are you talking about? What dollhouse? Where is this place…?”
Luo Yuxi’s map fell from her pocket. Looking at it, she realized there was no town near the Witch Capital, only a vast forest.
“Could it be…?”
She looked at the girl, her gaze filled with interest, and realized she had fallen under an illusion the moment she left the Seven Deadly Sins Witches’ castle. She had been pulled into another space without even realizing it.
“Witches are so terrifying. But who is this witch? I don’t recognize her…”

Luo Yuxi didn’t recognize the name, even with the panel. This was the third unknown witch she had encountered. The appearance of Yun Keke and Yu Keke had made her realize that the game was just a reference, there were things she didn’t know.
“Domination Witch…”
“That title? It’s been a while since I’ve heard it. I don’t like it, it’s not beautiful…”
The girl raised her hand, blood trickling down her arm like a red thread. Luo Yuxi didn’t understand what she was doing.
“If I turn you into a doll, your beauty will last forever, no need to worry about aging or death. You’ll be eternally beautiful by my side~”

Luo Yuxi, not giving her a chance to attack, burst into white flames and charged, hoping to at least cause some trouble, despite the difference in their Order levels. But the girl didn’t even react, letting the flames engulf her.
“How arrogant. Just let me burn your soul away…”
“If you like Qiu so much, you can become a puppet like her~”
“?!!”
Luo Yuxi’s flames licked at the girl, but she remained unharmed. Luo Yuxi looked closer and realized it was just a puppet.
“My name is Qing, and this child’s name is Qiu. Together, we are Qing Qiu. Become a puppet, and we can be together forever, eternally beautiful~”
Another girl emerged from the shadows, silver strings dancing around her fingers. The puppet, wielding two swords, attacked Luo Yuxi, its movements incredibly agile and flexible, spinning like a top, the blades like a reaper’s scythe.
“Don’t worry, I’ll just slit your throat, preserving your beautiful body~”
Qing pulled on the strings, cutting into her flesh, blood dripping to the ground, but she just smiled maniacally. Qiu, under her control, twisted and turned, its human-like appearance betrayed by the creaking of its joints.
“This is the worst possible situation…“
