On How to Conquer System Fairies and Make Them Your Wives 179

Chapter 179: Pervert

After finishing the barbecue, Nan Xiaoxiang quickly excused herself and returned to her room.

Chen Yin didn’t comment. He found her flustered reaction amusing.

Back in their room, Qingying was leaning against the doorframe, her tall, curvy figure accentuated by the tight black bodysuit.

“Yo, done with your little rendezvous?” she asked, glancing at him sideways.

“Jealous?” Chen Yin retorted.

“Are you crazy? Why would I be jealous of you?”

Qingying rolled her eyes and entered the room. “We need to talk.”

Chen Yin followed her inside, not bothering to tease her further.

As soon as they entered, a ripple appeared in the void, and Luo Luo leaped onto his back, her arms wrapping around his neck.

“Young Master!”

“How did it go?” Chen Yin ruffled her hair affectionately. “Did you find that Shen Li member’s location?”

“No.”

Luo Luo’s ears drooped, and she looked down. “I don’t know if he noticed me following him, but he just wandered around the village, and then…”

And then? Chen Yin sipped his tea.

Luo Luo glanced out the window.

Chen Yin followed her gaze and saw a faint figure on the hilltop, partially hidden by the trees.

“He’s been hiding near our house, watching your room, Young Master.”

Qingying crossed her arms and said, “At that distance, our Systems can’t detect each other. And from my experience, that location offers a poor view of our room. It’s not a good spot for surveillance.”

“It’s like he’s not trying to monitor us… but just wants to… watch our house.”

Chen Yin frowned. What was this guy up to?

Had he somehow exposed himself during their earlier conversation?

Even if he had, he should have reported back to the Divine Son or been ordered to follow him.

Why was he just lurking in the shadows, staring at his room?

Chen Yin wondered if Shen Li had somehow obtained some kind of x-ray vision technology through their Systems.

He gently stroked Luo Luo’s head. “You did well, Luo Luo.”

“Here, share these egg tarts with Qingying.”

Luo Luo looked at the strange pastries he had produced and took them without question. She knew he would only give her delicious things.

Qingying also picked one up and examined it curiously. “What about you?”

“It’s unsettling having someone watch us all the time.”

Chen Yin said casually, “I’m going to have a chat with him.”

Not far from their house, the masked figure leaned against a rock, his gaze fixed on Chen Yin’s room.

He hadn’t spoken a word.

Suddenly, a cheerful voice called out:

“If you’re interested in visiting, friend, why hide outside? Come in, I have good wine and tea.”

The masked figure turned around and stared at Chen Yin silently.

Chen Yin, initially friendly, felt a little awkward at his silence.

“Um… have I offended you in some way?”

The masked figure shook his head. “I was just taking a walk.”

A walk that just happened to lead you to my doorstep? Chen Yin’s lips twitched.

“You have quite a few female companions.” The masked figure suddenly said.

Chen Yin paused, then chuckled awkwardly. “They’re just friends.”

“Friends don’t usually nibble on each other’s earlobes.”

He had seen what happened between him and Nan Xiaoxiang?

A cold glint flashed in Chen Yin’s eyes. He didn’t want Shen Li’s attention shifting to Nan Xiaoxiang. Having someone lurking in the shadows, watching his loved ones, was unsettling.

“There’s no need to be nervous. We at Shen Li don’t harm innocent people. We won’t do anything to your companions.”

The masked figure turned away slightly. “You… care about her a lot, don’t you?”

Chen Yin was confused.

…Shen Li even cared about who he was flirting with?

Seeing his silence, the masked figure changed the subject.

“Do you drink?”

Chen Yin’s eyes lit up. “I can drink anyone under the table. If you’re interested, we can drink all night—”

“No need for candles.”

The masked figure turned around, and with a flick of their wrist, a small wooden table and several jars of wine appeared on the hilltop.

“We’ll drink here.” They sat down.

Chen Yin narrowed his eyes, then nodded.

Was the wine poisoned with something like the Life Returning Herb?

But it probably wouldn’t affect him.

Since his spiritual energy had turned blue, he had become almost immune to poisons.

He sat down and drained his cup in one gulp, keeping a close eye on the masked figure.

The figure lifted their mask slightly, taking a cautious sip. Chen Yin could only see their chin, their face still hidden.

It seemed the wine wasn’t poisoned. It was just strong liquor.

As the alcohol flowed down his throat, Chen Yin felt his spiritual energy circulate, neutralizing the effects instantly.

He was confident he could outdrink this guy.

“My friend—”

“Don’t talk.” The masked figure interrupted him, gesturing towards the wine cups. “Drink.”

Chen Yin had no choice but to take another large gulp.

This guy’s tolerance was higher than he had expected. He showed no signs of intoxication, even after several cups. And every time Chen Yin tried to start a conversation, he would be interrupted with a curt:

“Drink.”

So, they drank in silence.

Cup after cup, jar after jar.

Chen Yin hadn’t met anyone who could drink like this since his previous life.

Honestly, if Master had half his tolerance, it would save him a lot of trouble.

After half an hour, the hilltop was littered with empty wine jars.

Chen Yin’s expression remained unchanged, and the masked figure also showed no signs of intoxication. They were drinking like it was water, neither of them willing to give up.

Finally, the masked figure stood up. “I’ll come find you for another drink sometime.”

With that, he left.

Chen Yin watched him go, still puzzled by his behavior.

He had just sat there and drank without saying a word?

Was there really someone in this world who loved alcohol more than Master?

Back in their room, Luo Luo had finished the egg tarts, a wistful expression on her face.

Qingying asked eagerly, “How did it go?”

“He’s a strange one.” Chen Yin shook his head. “We drank for half the night, but he didn’t say a word.”

Qingying wrinkled her nose at the strong smell of alcohol on him.

“Are you drunk?”

“Are you afraid I’ll take advantage of you?”

“I’ll kick you across the room.” Qingying said seriously.

Chen Yin pouted and sat down at the table.

A cup of tea was already waiting for him.

“…To sober you up.” Qingying turned away slightly. “Too much alcohol is bad for you.”

Chen Yin tried to catch her eye, but she avoided his gaze.

Finally, she stomped her foot in annoyance.

“What?!”

“I wanted to make sure you weren’t possessed.”

“Yes!” She pouted. “I was worried about you! I’m such a fool!”

She turned to leave, but stopped at the doorway and turned back.

“Drink your tea before you leave.” She glared at him.

“Why?”

“What if you get drunk later and forget to drink it?”

“Luo Luo will remind me.”

“But I made the tea.” There was a hint of resentment in her voice, almost a childish whine.

Chen Yin obediently drank the tea.

Seeing this, Qingying’s anger seemed to dissipate slightly, and she couldn’t help but snort.

Chen Yin found her reaction amusing.

“If I really were drunk, would you take care of me?”

“No.” Qingying’s lips curled into a sneer. “I’d throw you outside and let the poisonous insects feast on you.”

Chen Yin dramatically slumped onto the table.

“Oh, I’m so drunk.”

Qingying almost laughed at his terrible acting and kicked him lightly.

“Get up, you idiot.”

But Chen Yin remained motionless, like a dead pig.

“Bastard!”

Qingying gritted her teeth.

She knew he was faking it.

But after a moment of hesitation, she walked over to him,

Gently slung his arm over her shoulder, and helped him to bed.

As she dropped him onto the bed, he pulled her down with him.

“Hey!”

Qingying’s face turned crimson, and she struggled against him. “What are you doing?!”

“Acting drunk.”

“But you’re not drunk!”

“Can’t I pretend?”

Qingying’s face burned with embarrassment, her ears turning pink. “L-let go of me… Luo Luo is watching…”

Luo Luo, who had been peeking through her fingers, quickly turned away and said, “L-Luo Luo didn’t see anything.”

“You!” Qingying was speechless.

Chen Yin rolled over, facing her.

“It’s cold outside. Why don’t you join me in bed?”

“Dream on!” She blushed and whispered, “You men are all perverts.”

“What do you think I’m thinking about?”

“Probably something like… a threesome… or a foursome…”

Her voice trailed off, her ears turning a deeper shade of pink.

Chen Yin nodded thoughtfully.

“That’s a tempting offer.”

“But tonight, I just want to watch you sleep beside me.”

Qingying blushed and quickly turned her back to him.

“Pervert,” she mumbled softly.

But she didn’t leave.
