The white fox’s eyes snapped open, and its massive form shimmered, slowly transforming into the ethereal image of a young girl.
“Young Master!” Luo Luo leaped into Chen Yin’s arms, nuzzling against him affectionately.
“Good girl. Did you wait long?” Chen Yin gently stroked her hair and ears.
“Luo Luo was so worried.”
She looked up at him timidly. “Are you alright, Young Master?”
“Not really. Big trouble.”
Chen Yin said dramatically, “There was a huge monster inside. I almost got eaten.”
“Heehee, you’re lying, Young Master.”
Luo Luo giggled. “You’re so powerful, no monster can eat you.”
“Then why are you still worried?” Chen Yin chuckled softly. “I’m not that easy to kill.”
“Speaking of which…”
Luo Luo paused and followed his gaze downwards.
Her face turned crimson.
“Ahhhhh!!!”
Chen Yin coughed awkwardly, pulled a dress from the System Shop, and said with a hint of reproach, “You silly girl. You didn’t even notice, did you?”

She snuggled closer to him, rubbing her soft fur against his arm.

Chen Yin glanced at her sideways. “Why are you being so well-behaved today?”
“Isn’t Luo Luo always well-behaved?”

“Because Luo Luo is hungry.” She grinned, revealing her adorable fangs.
Chen Yin chuckled and pinched her cheek, then pulled a bag of chips from the System Shop and handed it to her.
Luo Luo tore open the bag and began munching happily.
“So delicious.”
“I’ll give you something even more delicious when we get back.” Chen Yin said casually.
Luo Luo tilted her head and asked in a sweet voice, “Is it a milk lollipop?”
Chen Yin almost stumbled. After a moment, he said sternly:
“Ahem… Kids shouldn’t repeat such things.”
This time, their journey out of the secret realm was quick. Soon, they arrived at the entrance.
Not only were Qingying and Ye Huang waiting for them, but Nan Xiaoxiang was also there.
“You’re finally back.”
Qingying frowned. “This is a matter of life and death. His daughter is waiting.”

Chen Yin was about to leave when Nan Xiaoxiang spoke softly:

Two faint glows followed them out of the secret realm…
…and silently attached themselves to the Eternal Light sword.
