Citrus Love Little Green Tea 36

36. Cuteness is Justice!

The moon hung high in the willow branches, and night painted the sky.

On their way home from the restaurant, Ruo Tianxin bought a vacuum cleaner. Tying up her hair, she put on a dust mask and cap and started cleaning the living room, the machine rumbling loudly.

She wiped the glass desk with a clean cloth, meticulously cleaning even the rarely used teacups, and dusted the television screen, which was coated in a thin layer of grime.

“You don’t have to clean so thoroughly. Let me help,” Ruo Xiaoxi said, peeking her head out of her room. Outside the air-conditioned space felt like a furnace.

The summer heat made Ruo Tianxin sweat profusely, her back soaked, her T-shirt clinging to her skin, the outline of her bra straps faintly visible.

“No, it’s okay, brother, you can study. Housework is a woman’s job. Although… I’m the younger sister, so these chores are my responsibility.”

“So responsible, Tianxin…” Ruo Xiaoxi’s eyes widened slightly in surprise.

“Of course, if you feel bad for me working so hard, you could help a little…” Ruo Tianxin said, leaning on the mop and wiping the sweat from her brow, her back aching.

But before she could finish, the door slammed shut.

Hey! She was just being polite! Not actually asking for help!

“Ah? What did you say?” The door opened again, and Ruo Xiaoxi peeked out. I thought I heard something, but I couldn’t quite make it out.

“N-nothing, you continue studying…” Ruo Tianxin said through gritted teeth, forcing a smile.

“Oh, but I’ve finished my lesson for today. Come play with me when you’re done.” With a flick of her snow-white hair, Ruo Xiaoxi closed the door and went back to her room.

She finished already? That was fast… Ruo Tianxin thought.

While she could list a litany of her brother’s flaws, one thing was undeniable: his incredible ability to focus on his studies.

Sometimes, she wondered if he was too smart, as if all the academic talent in the family had gone to him. Ruo Tianxin wasn’t a bad student, but compared to Ruo Xiaoxi, she struggled.

Despite her brother’s playful, mischievous demeanor, he was a genuine academic prodigy.

After finishing her chores, Ruo Tianxin went back to the bedroom, pulling at her sweat-soaked shirt. She found Ruo Xiaoxi lying on the bed listening to music, her pretty feet, clad in white stockings, dangling playfully.

“Wearing stockings at home? Who are you trying to impress?” Ruo Tianxin grabbed her brother’s feet, stopping their rhythmic swinging, and gave them a squeeze.

“My legs get cold easily. And… can’t I admire myself?”

The smooth, silky texture of the stockings felt like they would slip through her fingers, elusive and soft, the delicate toes yielding to her touch.

Ruo Tianxin blushed, holding those little feet.

Ruo Xiaoxi didn’t resist, letting her sister play with her feet. It was just her little sister, not some strange woman.

Ruo Tianxin gently released her feet and looked at Ruo Xiaoxi, lost in her music, seemingly oblivious, her shameless display making her want to… do things to her!

The fact that this was her brother made the urge even stronger.

She wanted to experience that “Oh, so my brother makes these cute expressions as a girl too” moment. She could tease him now; the thought was exhilarating.

“Go take a shower. I don’t want you to catch a cold,” Ruo Xiaoxi said, noticing her sister’s sweat-soaked clothes. She reached over to the control panel for the central air conditioning and raised the temperature slightly.

Ruo Tianxin nodded and went to take a shower.

The bedroom light was on, and Ruo Xiaoxi lay on the bed, wrapped in the covers, listening to music.

She heard Jay Chou was finally releasing a new song, but he had only released a snippet, leaving fans hanging. Some fans had even composed their own continuations, and they were surprisingly good.

The quiet room was filled only with the soft whirring of the computer’s fan.

From the bathroom, separated by a glass door, came the sounds of running water, the showerhead occasionally clanging against the faucet. Ruo Tianxin stood under the spray, eyes closed, cupping her breasts.

The sisters’ lives remained simple and peaceful, unchanged by the extraordinary circumstances.

Sharing one earbud, they listened to music together and played games until midnight, when they finally felt sleepy and decided to go to bed.

Although they usually slept with separate blankets, Ruo Xiaoxi only had one, so the sisters, no longer needing to maintain the pretense of distance, decided to share.

Her sister didn’t seem to dislike her, even though she had initially called her “creepy”… but now she was all “cute, cute”! Ruo Xiaoxi also thought she was cute!

Cuteness is justice! And she was an agent of justice.

They made the bed, turned off the lights, and the room was plunged into darkness.

Ruo Xiaoxi felt a strange sensation, her sister’s warmth beside her. Her heart beat a little faster. No weird thoughts, just… this is new.

Suddenly, she heard a slight rustling sound.

Ruo Tianxin got out of bed and, in the darkness, knelt down by her suitcase, unzipping it and taking something out.

Then she crawled back into bed.

“What’s wrong?” Ruo Xiaoxi asked.

Ruo Tianxin leaned closer, as if sharing a secret, her voice a whisper.

“Remember I said I had something to show you tonight? Hee hee.”
