Chapter 8: Your Girlfriend Is Mine Now

Tang Ze handed a bucket of spicy chicken wings to Sun Ting. “Good job.”

    “Thank you, Master.”

Sun Ting beamed, delighted to have some real food.

    Tang Ze nodded.

Hugging the bucket, Sun Ting ate heartily, sharing a few with An Bai, who quickly gobbled them down to regain some strength.

    “She needs to recover too.”

Sun Ting suddenly realized something. An Bai couldn’t die; she needed someone to share the burden.

    “Whatever.”

Although reluctant to part with the chicken wings, Sun Ting knew she had to make sacrifices for the future.

“Look at the two of you, covered in grease. Go wash up. And make sure she’s clean too.”

    “Don’t worry, squeaky clean.”

Sun Ting was now adept at pleasing Tang Ze.

They went into the bathroom. Sun Ting closed the door. The bathroom wasn’t very big, just enough for the two women to stand.

Sun Ting pulled out her own metaphorical thorns, hissing in pain.

    “Why are you doing this?”

An Bai looked at Sun Ting, not understanding why she would degrade herself like this.

Sun Ting gave a wry smile. “Do we have any other choice? Of course we choose the stronger one.”

“But he doesn’t look that strong.”

    “Girl, he has a gun.”

Sun Ting lightly hit An Bai, a warning of sorts. These words were only for them to hear. If Tang Ze heard, there would be trouble.

An Bai suddenly understood. The gunshots these past few days were his.

Sun Ting slowly took off An Bai’s pajamas, chuckling. “Nice figure. He’ll like it.”

Being scrutinized like this made An Bai uncomfortable. Biting her lip, she asked, “Can I still go back?”

“Go back? Back where? Since you agreed, don’t go back on your word. He’s not a kind person. I almost died by his hand.”

Sun Ting gave a stern warning. Debasing herself was one thing, but courting death was another.

Hearing Sun Ting’s words, An Bai felt like she had entered a tiger’s den, but at least there was only one tiger.

“Since we’re here, we might as well make ourselves at home. Who knows how long this life will last. If we want to survive, we have to throw our dignity underfoot and flush our three views down the toilet.”

With that, Sun Ting turned on the shower.

As the hot water poured over An Bai’s delicate body, a long-lost warmth enveloped her.

    “Wuwuwu…”

At this moment, An Bai cried with a voice full of grievance, her tears carrying both injustice and self-pity. Sun Ting sighed, comforting her. Life was hard for women in the apocalypse. They were still relatively lucky.

A while later, the two came out.

Looking at An Bai, Tang Ze chuckled. Such a beautiful flight attendant, probably every man would fantasize about her, especially in this building. And now she was standing right there, her delicate appearance as if waiting for a man’s affection.

An Bai understood what was expected and walked towards Tang Ze, but she was still a little hesitant.

“Indeed charming, but that face is a little unsettling.”

Tang Ze’s words stunned An Bai. My face is unsettling?

Tang Ze was exaggerating, of course. She was just weak, not as beautiful as before.

But this blow was too much for An Bai. Sun Ting, standing next to her, smiled and reminded, “Apologize.”

    “I’m sorry.”

An Bai lowered her head, lacking confidence.

Unlike Sun Ting, An Bai seemed weak and fragile, like a little kitten.

“Let’s wait a couple of days, let you recover first.”

Tang Ze certainly wanted to have a taste, but he felt that An Bai was too weak.

After all, beautiful women were rare, and in this building, it was just the two of them.

However, at this moment, a roar came from outside.

“You bitch! Where are you hiding?! Come out! Don’t make me kill you!”

    Ning Gu’s furious voice echoed.

Returning home and finding An Bai gone had enraged him. He had already negotiated a price with the client, and she had run away!

He should have locked the door when he left!

Tang Ze whispered, “What will your boyfriend do if he sees you here with me?”

    “Don’t.”

An Bai looked at Tang Ze pleadingly.

However, Tang Ze gestured to Sun Ting. Sun Ting understood and went to open the door. “Handsome, over here.”

Ning Gu, having found the right floor, was stunned. “You’re that streamer?”

    “Yes.”

Ning Gu thought, This streamer is so alluring and dressed so sexily. Damn, I’m going to screw her as soon as I get inside.

However, as soon as he entered, his expression froze.

His girlfriend was standing there, and wasn’t that the delivery guy sitting on the sofa?!

But when he saw the KFC on the coffee table, Ning Gu’s lips trembled.

    “Bitch! You’re eating alone?!”

These words stunned the three of them. Given the situation, his first concern was the food.

Grabbing the fries from the table, Ning Gu stuffed them into his mouth, while Tang Ze watched with a smile, caressing An Bai’s cheek in front of Ning Gu.

Ning Gu watched as he ate. Although angry, it was nothing compared to food. Who he slept with didn’t matter.

After satisfying his hunger, Ning Gu wiped his mouth. “This KFC is all mine, and so is the water.”

Hearing Ning Gu’s words, An Bai’s tears flowed. He didn’t care about her at all.

Seeing Tang Ze silent, he took it as agreement. “An Bai, what are you standing there for? Come here! My woman charges by the minute!”

“Sorry, your woman is mine now.”

    Tang Ze said calmly.

    “You slut, come here!”

He walked towards Tang Ze, intending to drag An Bai away.

However, Tang Ze pulled a Desert Eagle from between the sofa cushions.

Ning Gu stared, dumbfounded. This loser delivery guy actually had a gun!

No wonder An Bai didn’t dare to move.

“Big brother, let’s talk this over. You can have her for as long as you want.”

Ning Gu immediately apologized. Why hadn’t this bitch told him earlier?!

Tang Ze gave a friendly smile. “You ate so much of my food, shouldn’t you say thank you?”

    “Right, right, thank you.”

    Ning Gu quickly apologized.

    Bang!

    Blood splattered.

  • I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 7

Chapter 7: Three Views Trampled Underfoot

Sun Ting paused, glancing back at An Bai. She hadn’t seen her in a few days, and An Bai looked much weaker, even worse off than herself.

Although An Bai wasn’t close to Sun Ting, she had heard that Sun Ting was a streamer, earning even more than herself.

“Miss, why are you looking at us like that? Hurry home.”

Tang Ze waved his hand and smiled.

“Do you still have food at home?” An Bai finally asked. If there were any other way, she wouldn’t choose death. No one wanted to die, it was always a last resort.

Sun Ting stood up and walked towards An Bai, her slender fingers brushing against An Bai’s dry skin and parched hair. “Of course we have food. Do you want some?”

    “Yes, I do.”

An Bai nodded repeatedly, envious of Sun Ting’s condition. She used to be even more beautiful.

Sun Ting picked up a half-empty bottle of mineral water from the stairs. An Bai’s eyes lit up; in times of crisis, it was her fellow women who were dependable.

    “Thank you, thank you.”

An Bai reached for the bottle, but Sun Ting stepped back.

Tang Ze couldn’t help but chuckle. A bit mischievous, teasing her like that.

An Bai looked at Sun Ting, puzzled, not understanding what she meant. Sun Ting opened the bottle cap and poured a little water on the floor.

Tang Ze’s lips twitched. Wow, using my own trick against someone else.

    “This is how you drink.”

Sun Ting demonstrated in front of An Bai.

As the water dripped onto the floor, An Bai bit her dry lips and drank the water as Sun Ting had shown her.

A strange slurping sound echoed in the stairwell.

Tang Ze hadn’t expected this. The once proud girl had lowered herself to this.

Sun Ting continued up the stairs, sprinkling water as she went, and An Bai followed, drinking, all the way to Tang Ze’s apartment.

As the door closed, An Bai seemed to come back to her senses. She immediately smelled a fragrance, a fragrance that seemed to come from a bygone era.

    It was KFC!

Seeing the KFC on the coffee table, An Bai’s eyes widened in disbelief. How was this possible?

Remembering that Tang Ze was a delivery guy, she figured he must have stolen it and kept it at home. No wonder this streamer was willing to stay with him.

    “Can I?”

Sun Ting asked Tang Ze, eager to continue the game, but afraid of displeasing him.

Tang Ze smiled and nodded. Let’s see what tricks you have up your sleeve.

With Tang Ze’s permission, Sun Ting felt relieved. She picked up a leftover chicken bone and tossed it in front of An Bai.

Looking down at the bone, An Bai’s arm trembled. She told herself not to eat it, but her body wouldn’t listen. Her slender hand slowly reached out.

In the end, hunger conquered pride.

The sound of chewing slowly echoed, accompanied by An Bai’s tears. She had never imagined that she would one day be on the floor, gnawing on a bone. Why was she so useless?

“I heard your boyfriend is selling you?”

Tang Ze took out a cigarette, and Sun Ting immediately lit it for him.

An Bai shuddered, turning her head slightly. “He… He didn’t.”

“You probably don’t know yet, but there’s a men’s group chat for this building. Yesterday, you were being auctioned off. The price was quite high, one bottle of water for half an hour, and there were four reservations already.”

Tang Ze’s words struck An Bai’s heart. Her hands lost their strength. “Impossible. He just told me to go to Dong Fei.”

“Dong Fei is just your first customer. Take a look.”

Tang Ze placed his phone in front of An Bai. She picked it up and looked. The content was shocking. There were even sexy photos of her. Ning Gu was even describing her good points.

Tears streamed down her face. She felt like the sky was falling.

Tang Ze took back his phone and tapped off the ash. Sun Ting actually caught the ash with both hands, a gesture that impressed Tang Ze.

“Why not stay with me? You’ll have food and drink every day.”

Sun Ting sat beside An Bai, stroking her cheek, her voice like a devil’s whisper invading An Bai’s mind.

“You’ll have three meals a day, all kinds of delicacies from around the world, and you’ll be able to wash away the dirt from your body. You’ll survive this chaotic world.”

Tang Ze suddenly realized that he should let Sun Ting recruit for him. She definitely had potential.

“You decide whether you want to stay here or become a plaything.”

Sun Ting patted An Bai’s shoulder. I can only help you this much. You’re a smart woman, you know what’s important.

In the hands of those men, her fate would be a gruesome death. With Tang Ze, she might eventually die by his hand, but at least she would be fed and watered. Would those men give her enough to eat and drink?

Silly girl, don’t be naive. They’ll only give you a little food to make you dependent, to control you.

An Bai wasn’t a fool. She whispered, “I choose to stay.”

    “Louder.”

Sun Ting smiled, satisfied, completely crushing An Bai’s remaining dignity.

An Bai gritted her teeth and shouted, “I choose to stay.”

Tang Ze wanted to give Sun Ting a raise. This kind of talent needed to be kept.

    “Here’s your reward.”

Tang Ze threw all the bones in front of An Bai. She didn’t resist at all, frantically stuffing them into her mouth.

  • I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 6

Chapter 6: Sold by Her Boyfriend

    “You’re a pretty good dancer for a small-time streamer.”

Tang Ze lit a cigarette, and Sun Ting held the ashtray beside him.

Sun Ting pouted, disagreeing, “Who’s a small-time streamer? I’m one of the top three streamers on the platform! I make six figures a month, at least.”

“No wonder you called me a loser.”

    Sun Ting: “…”

At Dong Fei’s place, six men were drinking beer, their brows furrowed. The deaths of Baldy and Yellow Hair had been a blow to their confidence. They thought they could control this building, but it turned out there was a ruthless person lurking in the shadows.

Standing on the balcony, Dong Fei looked at the corpses below. His eyes suddenly focused. Judging by where they landed, they must have been thrown from his own floor, from above.

“Doggy, check the information of the residents on the floors above me. See how many haven’t reported in.”

The man called Doggy was around thirty years old, with a sharp chin and deep-set eyes, clearly showing the effects of excessive indulgence over the past few days.

Soon, Doggy had the results. “Brother Dong, there are only two households upstairs who haven’t come.”

“An Bai on the sixth floor, a flight attendant, and Tang Ze on the seventh floor, a delivery guy.”

The fat man sitting next to him slapped his thigh. “I’ve seen that flight attendant in the elevator before. She’s incredibly beautiful, fair skin, always with a rich, handsome boyfriend.”

“Could her boyfriend have the gun?”

Dong Fei had also seen An Bai’s boyfriend. He didn’t look like someone who would own a gun.

Could it be the delivery guy?

How could a delivery guy have a gun?

But besides those two, who else could it be?

    Could he have guessed wrong?

Suddenly, his phone rang. Seeing the incoming video call, Dong Fei frowned. It was Ding Feng, the boss of Building Four next door.

Adjusting his glasses, Dong Fei put on a professional smile and answered, “Boss Ding, still haven’t slept yet?”

“Boss Dong hasn’t either, it seems. I guess we’re both kept awake by the gunshots.”

Ding Feng said teasingly. Since he wasn’t in Building Four, he wasn’t too worried about anything happening to him.

Dong Fei chuckled. “Don’t you worry, Boss Ding. I can handle it.”

“Alright then. I was thinking of lending you a hand, Boss Dong. If you have any trouble, let me know. I’m happy to help.”

“Thanks for the offer, Boss Ding, but I have some things to attend to. I’ll hang up now.”

Dong Fei ended the call, cursing Ding Feng in his mind. As if you’d get your hands on the gun.

On the other side, Ding Feng scoffed and put down his phone.

Sitting next to him was a woman in her thirties, Ding Feng’s girlfriend, who was somewhat attractive.

“Brother Feng, we have to find a way to get that gun. With a gun, you’ll be the emperor of this complex. Maybe you can even control the surrounding complexes.”

The woman’s words stirred Ding Feng’s heart. One building wasn’t his goal. He wanted greater power.

“Also, I heard from the sisters in the group chat that there’s a flight attendant and a streamer in Building Three who are extremely beautiful. I even have pictures.”

The woman opened her phone and showed Ding Feng the pictures of An Bai and Sun Ting.

Greed flashed in Ding Feng’s eyes, further solidifying his thoughts. He grinned wickedly. “Tomorrow, we’ll hold a meeting and make preparations. We’ll take Building Three!”

The woman was delighted. She was skilled at pleasing men. “Brother Feng, I’ve also prepared a late-night snack for you.”

    “Oh?”

    “Bring her in.”

    The woman called out.

A young girl was dragged in by the hair by one of the younger brothers.

Such things were gradually becoming commonplace in the complex. The bosses with supplies controlled life and death, and everyone had to bow down to survive.

    Building 3, Apartment 603.

An Bai, dressed in black silk pajamas, cut open a mineral water bottle. Her tongue, which should have been rosy, was now slightly white as she licked the bottle cap.

Ning Gu came out of the bedroom and glanced at An Bai on the sofa. “I’m going out for a bit.”

    “Where are you going?”

An Bai asked quickly, afraid that Ning Gu would leave her alone.

    “Just going out.”

Seeing that Ning Gu wouldn’t tell her, An Bai went over and grabbed his sleeve. “Are you going to see them?”

“Are you annoying or what? Who else am I supposed to go to? My Porsche only got me a bottle of water and two pieces of bread! You, on the other hand, enjoy the food I bring back without doing anything!”

He flung his arm, and the weakened An Bai fell to the floor, her face pale.

Seeing An Bai without her usual beauty, Ning Gu’s attitude completely changed. “Let me tell you the truth. I’ve made a deal with Brother Dong. You go to them once a day, and we can survive.”

“You want me to go to those beasts?!”

An Bai looked at Ning Gu in disbelief. Was this something a boyfriend should say?

“Do you want to starve to death?! Do you have the heart to let me starve to death? You used to say you would die for me, and now I’m not even asking you to die, just to sacrifice your body a little!”

A sense of helplessness washed over An Bai.

“You should think about how I treated you before. Designer bags, designer jewelry, all those fancy restaurants, which one didn’t cost money? I was the one paying before, now it’s your turn!”

With that, Ning Gu went out to negotiate a price with Dong Fei. After all, his girlfriend was the most beautiful in this building. Although she was a little weak from hunger, she could recover after a few days of good food.

Hearing the door close, despair filled An Bai’s eyes. Dong Fei and his group were inhuman. Girls who fell into their hands would wish they were dead.

Looking at her apartment, An Bai felt none of its former warmth, only disgust. She didn’t want to stay here a moment longer.

She opened the door and walked out. The outside air cleared her head somewhat. A self-deprecating smile appeared on her face. Looking at the window of the emergency stairwell, An Bai made up her mind.

Even death is better than being defiled by those beasts.

Walking into the stairwell, An Bai heard voices from upstairs.

Curious, she quietly went up and saw Tang Ze.

Tang Ze and Sun Ting were also out for some fresh air.

Tang Ze saw the frail An Bai and smiled. “Good afternoon, miss.”

  • I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 5

    Chapter 5: Ruthless Tang Ze

Baldy stopped Yellow Hair and shouted, “Brother, you must be starving after so many days. We had a good haul yesterday. Come over to 201 for a chat if you’re free.”

He then left with a confused Yellow Hair.

Ning Gu breathed a sigh of relief, and An Bai did the same.

However, Baldy’s words kept echoing in Ning Gu’s mind, eroding his last vestiges of willpower.

Soon, the two arrived at 701 and knocked.

Baldy used the same tone, shouting, “We have plenty of food. Come to 201 for a chat if you’re free. It’s better to be alive than anything, better than starving to death at home.”

    The door suddenly opened.

But it was the next-door neighbor’s.

Tang Ze looked at the two and said in a deep voice, “Knock lightly, you’re too loud.”

Baldy and Yellow Hair exchanged glances. Recently, all the men had been respectful to them. When had anyone spoken to them like this?

“Are you looking for death?! How dare you talk to Brother Baldy like that!”

Yellow Hair immediately walked towards Tang Ze, but upon seeing the inside of the apartment, he went silent, stunned.

Baldy followed curiously and was also dumbfounded when he saw inside.

On the dining table were dishes of chicken stewed with mushrooms, braised pig’s trotters, and stir-fried lettuce.

More importantly, there was a woman eating next to the table.

“Br… Brother Baldy, th… that seems to be the streamer.”

Yellow Hair stammered. After so many days, even the most beautiful women had become haggard due to lack of food and water. But this streamer looked like a fairy.

“You’ve got it good, kid. Plenty of food and drink, and a beautiful woman at home.”

Baldy said sarcastically, walking directly into Tang Ze’s apartment, followed by Yellow Hair.

Tang Ze smiled and closed the door.

Yellow Hair couldn’t wait to grab a pig’s trotter with his hand. “Brother Baldy, pig’s feet, pig’s feet, so delicious!”

Sun Ting, seeing the two men enter, wasn’t flustered at all. She walked to the sofa and curled up.

Baldy looked at Sun Ting, unable to hide his greed. “Kid, if you know what’s good for you, hand over the food and the woman, and save yourself some pain.”

“She’s mine. I can’t give her to you. No way.”

Tang Ze said with an innocent look.

Sun Ting thought to herself, These two idiots are dead.

“Hah, you won’t take the nice way, huh? Brother Baldy, stand back, don’t get any blood on you.”

With that, Yellow Hair pulled out a fruit knife and stabbed at Tang Ze.

However, before he could hit him, Yellow Hair felt a fist envelop his face.

Bang! Yellow Hair’s world spun. His face caved in. Baldy’s eyes were filled with terror. Sun Ting on the sofa was also stunned. She knew Tang Ze had a gun, but she didn’t expect him to be so strong.

If she had any remaining thoughts of escape, they were gone now. She didn’t want to end up like Yellow Hair.

“Ting Ting, go open the window.”

Tang Ze chuckled, lifting Yellow Hair up. Yellow Hair weighed at least 130 pounds, yet Tang Ze lifted him effortlessly with one hand. Baldy’s hands were trembling.

Sun Ting obediently opened the window. Tang Ze threw Yellow Hair out.

    A thud echoed.

However, no one paid attention. They were numb. Every day, people couldn’t bear the mental torment and chose to jump to their deaths.

Tang Ze clapped his hands and sat down again, smiling. “Sit, let’s eat together. Get another set of bowls and chopsticks for our guest.”

Sun Ting’s obedient manner made Baldy’s heart tremble. What had this young man done to her?

Looking at the graceful Sun Ting, Baldy felt no desire, only fear welling up inside him.

“Brother, how about it? Not bad, right?”

Tang Ze picked up his chopsticks and ate unhurriedly.

Baldy didn’t dare to pick up his chopsticks.

    “Looking down on me?”

Tang Ze narrowed his eyes slightly.

Baldy quickly picked up his chopsticks. “Misunderstanding, brother, no such thing.”

“Good. So, what’s the situation outside?”

Baldy didn’t dare to lie and immediately said, “It’s chaos out there. People are killing each other for supplies. The convenience stores and supermarkets nearby have been looted by several residential complexes.”

    “What’s your boss planning?”

“The boss said, after this batch of supplies is gone, we’ll rob the surrounding complexes.”

“How much do you have left?”

“If we conserve, it should last about a month.”

“By the way, is your boss looking for this?”

Tang Ze took out his gun, making Baldy’s scalp tingle. For some bread and mineral water, he had practically signed his own death warrant.

    Baldy nodded.

Tang Ze put down his chopsticks, having finished eating. “What are you waiting for? Eat. It’s your last meal before I send you on your way.”

Tears streamed down Baldy’s face. “Big brother, I was wrong! Don’t kill me! I’ll give you all my supplies, please!”

“Eat quickly, don’t waste it. And remember to thank me.”

Tang Ze’s eyes turned cold. Baldy frantically stuffed food into his mouth, feeling for the first time that it tasted so bad.

He had thought Dong Fei was ruthless, but this young man was even more so. “Thank you, big brother.”

“Now, jump yourself. Don’t make me shoot. Blood splatters everywhere, it’s hard to clean, right?”

Baldy kept backing away, pleading with his hands, until his back was against the wall.

“Big brother, we have no quarrel, you…”

Bang! Before he could finish, a gunshot rang out.

A red dot appeared between Baldy’s eyebrows. He fell backward and tumbled down.

Sun Ting swallowed hard. This man was unpredictable, so ruthless.

Downstairs, Dong Fei and the others’ faces changed drastically when they heard the gunshot again.

    “Brother Dong, Baldy fell!”

A younger brother shouted from the balcony.

Dong Fei immediately ran to the balcony. Seeing Baldy’s body, his face darkened.

“Boss, if he doesn’t come looking for trouble, we don’t need to bother him either. It’s best to avoid conflict.”

Although Dong Fei was unwilling, his subordinate’s words made sense. If the gunman sought revenge, their lives wouldn’t be enough to pay for it.

Dong Fei immediately sent a message in the Building Three group chat.

“Brother, we have food and drink here. Come over and sit if you’re free.”

This was clearly a gesture of submission, an attempt at reconciliation. But Dong Fei had other plans. If he really came, it would be a Hongmen banquet (a trap).

Sitting on the sofa, Tang Ze chuckled. He had plenty of time to deal with them. The priority now was food.

Looking at Sun Ting, who was massaging his feet, he decided to let her rest for the night, lest she die suddenly.

“Aren’t you a dance streamer? Go dance for me.”

“What kind of dance does Master like?”

    “What do you think?”

Sun Ting understood and turned on the music, swaying her enchanting body.

  • I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 4

Chapter 4: Tricking Me Has Consequences

“Those guys downstairs, a cup of water is enough for them to do whatever they want to a woman. You even ate a slice of my pizza. How about I treat you to a peanut… a bullet, how about that?”

Sun Ting collapsed on the floor, trembling with fear. She thought this was a sheep pen, but it turned out to be a tiger’s den.

Where did he get a gun?!

    “Come here.”

    Tang Ze beckoned.

Sun Ting didn’t dare to resist. Supporting herself with her arms, she slowly crawled towards Tang Ze on the sofa.

“Big brother, spare me! I won’t lie to you again.”

With tears in her voice, Sun Ting pleaded repeatedly. On the surface, he seemed harmless, all smiles, but he was actually a devil.

Tang Ze lifted the gun, tracing it along her delicate face. Sun Ting’s eyes widened, feeling like she was about to die. She instantly regretted her actions. Agreeing to him wouldn’t have cost her anything.

“If you had been this obedient earlier, you wouldn’t have to suffer.”

Tang Ze gave a kind smile, but no one knew that the shot he had fired earlier had actually missed on purpose.

    Sun Ting nodded vigorously, whimpering.

However, Tang Ze’s eyes were cold, the gun now pressed against the back of Sun Ting’s head. Tricking him had only one outcome: death!

“Don’t be so picky, it’s the apocalypse. There aren’t that many beauties.” He thought.

Tang Ze suddenly noticed the progress bar had increased by 1%. A bit slow. He tossed Sun Ting aside and sat on the sofa, getting ready to eat some hotpot to replenish his energy.

This was much higher quality than those adult videos. And it was only exchanged for a bottle of mineral water and a slice of pizza. Who said cheap was bad?

    “Spare me…”

    Sun Ting whispered a plea.

Tang Ze paused, grabbed Sun Ting’s hair, and pulled her up. He noticed her face was completely bloodless, and her skin was extremely dry.

He frowned slightly. It was the energy bar at work.

He needed to take it slow. Only 2% progress, way too slow.

    “Eat something.”

Tang Ze said indifferently. There was a plate at his feet filled with cooked pork belly and fatty beef.

Starving, Sun Ting ignored the pain and quickly crawled to Tang Ze’s feet to eat.

    “Here, water.”

This time, Tang Ze gave her a large bowl, all she could drink.

Chewing the meat, Sun Ting mumbled, “Thank you, thank you.”

“You’re welcome. From now on, you’re mine.”

Sun Ting, who was kneeling on the ground drinking water, froze… but didn’t dare to resist.

Tang Ze didn’t explain much, just smiled. “You have two choices now: either eat a peanut (bullet), or obey me.”

    “I’ll obey you.”

Sun Ting didn’t hesitate to choose the latter. Only a fool would choose the bullet. As long as she had food and water, that was enough.

Tang Ze stroked Sun Ting’s head and smiled. “From now on, you’re mine.”

    “Mm.”

Tang Ze was taken aback. She was much smarter than before.

Meanwhile, in Dong Fei’s home, seven or eight men were sitting around, supplies piled up in the living room, half of which was mineral water.

A bald man seemed impatient. “Damn, still not out yet? Don’t kill her.”

Dong Fei took a sip of red wine and glanced at him. “What’s the rush? There are plenty of women.”

The bald man said with a wry smile, “Beautiful women are rare. We finally got a good-looking one, and he’s taking so long.”

“Compared to women, the gunshot we heard earlier is what we need to deal with.”

Dong Fei said in a deep voice. That gun was a threat to his position. He felt like a gun was pointed at his own head.

If he could get that gun, he could control the entire complex. He could practically be the emperor of this place.

A man with yellow hair sitting next to him said seriously, “I think the gunshot came from our building.”

    “Sounds likely.”

    Another man agreed.

Dong Fei placed his wine glass on the table. “Baldy, you and Yellow Hair go check every apartment.”

Baldy and Yellow Hair exchanged glances. The person had a gun.

“A case of bread and mineral water each.”

A handsome reward motivated them. Baldy and Yellow Hair nodded. Baldy, as he got up, shouted towards the bedroom, “Take it easy, leave some breath for me!”

Dong Fei said helplessly, “An almost 40-year-old woman, and you’re so into her.”

“Brother Dong, you don’t understand. I’ve always had my eye on this woman. If it weren’t for the apocalypse, I wouldn’t have had a chance with her. I have to thank the apocalypse.”

The men laughed wickedly. This was much more interesting than going to work.

After leaving, Yellow Hair chuckled. “Brother Baldy, there’s a streamer in 701, great body. And there’s a flight attendant in 603, she looks really juicy.”

“You’re a smart one. With me covering you, you won’t die when we go out.”

“Thanks, Brother Baldy. After you’re done, let your little brother have a go too.”

Baldy patted Yellow Hair on the shoulder. “Don’t worry, women in this world are free for the taking.”

They had forgotten about finding the gun, heading straight to 603 to find the flight attendant.

Inside, Ning Gu was extremely agitated, pacing restlessly. He was hungry and thirsty, almost delirious. His beautiful girlfriend, An Bai, sat curled up on the sofa, looking pitiful.

Bang, bang, bang. A knock on the door startled both of them.

Ning Gu went to the door and peeked through the peephole. He saw Baldy and Yellow Hair. There was no way he was opening the door.

“We know you’re in there, open up!”

    Yellow Hair yelled.

Ning Gu still had some sense left. If he opened this door, An Bai would become their plaything.

    Chapter 3: Restore Your Expression

As if he knew what they were thinking, Dong Fei adjusted his glasses, his eyes revealing a fierce glint. “I won’t force anyone. It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to contribute. But don’t expect to touch the supplies we bring back!”

    “I’ll go!”

    “Me too!”

A few married men showed commendable courage. They had wives and children at home, they had to do something.

Two teams were formed, and Dong Fei naturally went out himself. “Go back now. I’ll notify everyone in the group chat later. But if you want something for nothing, think about what you have to trade.”

An Bai looked at her boyfriend and asked in a low voice, “Ning Gu, we’ve run out of food.”

Ning Gu said impatiently, “What’s the rush? My dad said he’s finding a way to send us food. Do you want me to die out there?”

“No, that’s not what I meant.”

    An Bai quickly explained.

But Ning Gu said in a deep voice, “Then what do you mean?”

An Bai’s face turned pale, because that was exactly what she meant.

About three hours later, two cars returned with sparking wheel rims. Six people had left, only four returned.

The waiting families, seeing their sons or husbands hadn’t returned, wept.

“Was my husband caught in the rain?”

    “My son…”

Dong Fei said gravely, “It’s chaos out there. Everyone’s fighting for supplies. Your husband and your son were beaten to death, not caught in the rain.”

Everyone looked at each other, their faces filled with fear. However, when they saw the food and water in the back seats and trunk, their fear was replaced by longing.

“I want water, I want water.”

A skinny man rushed forward desperately.

Dong Fei picked up the bloodstained baseball bat beside him and swung it hard. The skinny man’s jaw flew off.

But Dong Fei didn’t stop. He swung the bat at the man’s head again and again until his entire skull was shattered.

With blood splattered on his face, Dong Fei turned to look at the crowd. “Anyone else want to try?”

A man had been beaten to death right before their eyes. Everyone was too terrified to make a sound.

    “Listen up!

Men who want supplies must go out. Women who want supplies, use your bodies to trade.”

    Dong Fei’s words shocked everyone.

But he couldn’t be blamed. These supplies were earned with their lives, why should they be shared?

The apocalypse had its own rules.

Later that night, a light knock on the door suddenly sounded. Tang Ze put down the pizza he was holding, wiped his hands, and went to open the door, but not before looking through the peephole.

Seeing that familiar face, a smile gradually spread across Tang Ze’s face. “I wondered how long you could hold out.”

She was dressed up nicely today, a little white dress and exquisite makeup, almost on par with the flight attendant.

He opened the door. It was Sun Ting, the streamer. Who would watch live streams now? Even if she earned anything, those digital numbers couldn’t be exchanged for supplies. Just now, one of her fellow streamers went to trade supplies and recounted the inhumane treatment. Several men took turns, and in the end, she only got a cup of water and an Oreo.

So she could only come to this delivery guy. This loser must have a lot of food hidden in his home, so she had dressed up, hoping this loser would give her some benefits.

Sure enough, as soon as the door opened, Sun Ting smelled a familiar yet strange aroma.

    It was New Orleans pizza!

Seeing the steaming hot pizza on the coffee table, Sun Ting couldn’t believe it. He still had pizza at a time like this.

    “What’s up?”

Tang Ze asked casually, opening a bottle of mineral water and taking a sip.

Despite the lipstick, Sun Ting’s lips were chapped. As a streamer, it was normal to have some food at home, but the problem now was the lack of water. Instant noodles were useless without water.

“Big brother, can you spare me some water?”

Sun Ting, once so arrogant, now saw the water dripping from Tang Ze’s lips, and wished she could open her mouth and catch it.

Tang Ze’s smile deepened. “I still prefer your arrogant and haughty demeanor. Restore it. Call me a loser.”

“Big brother, you misunderstood. It was I who was blind.”

Sun Ting quickly apologized. Her original plan was completely forgotten. Seduction? As long as she could have a sip of water, she would do anything.

Tang Ze drew out an “oh” and slowly lowered the bottle.

Water slowly flowed onto the floor. Sun Ting didn’t hesitate at all, instinctively dropping to the ground – getting down on all fours and extending her dry, chapped tongue to lick the floor. Tang Ze slowly backed into the apartment, and Sun Ting followed, licking her way in. The door slowly closed.

“So, ‘licking the floor’ isn’t just a figure of speech.”

Putting away the mineral water, Tang Ze sat on the sofa and watched Sun Ting.

Sun Ting slowly raised her head, looking at the mineral water bottle in Tang Ze’s hand, her desire uncontainable.

    “Want more?”

    Tang Ze shook the bottle.

Sun Ting nodded repeatedly at Tang Ze’s feet. “Yes, I want.”

“Then I’ll give you a little more.”

Sun Ting was about to get a cup, but Tang Ze poured the water onto the floor again. Even so, Sun Ting obediently licked it up.

“You’ve licked the floor shiny. Here’s a piece of pizza as a reward.”

He tossed a piece of pizza onto the floor.

Sun Ting would never have eaten such junk food before, afraid of gaining weight. But now, it was like a treasure, and she devoured it without any regard for her image.

“Sigh, you’re so dirty. Go take a shower.”

Sun Ting asked in surprise, “You have water for a shower?”

“Of course. Wash yourself clean, use plenty of shower gel.”

Sun Ting immediately ran into the bathroom. Sure enough, there was clean water. Without even bothering to close the door, she eagerly started washing. For her, not showering for a day was unbearable, let alone almost a week.

This scene was a treat for Tang Ze. A woman who could become a streamer naturally wouldn’t have bad looks.

After showering, Sun Ting realized the door was open and quickly closed it. A while later, she came out fully dressed.

“Um, I’ll go back now. Thank you.”

Sun Ting didn’t want to just offer herself up, and besides, this loser wasn’t like those other men. He couldn’t force her. What she had just done was compensation for the food.

Tang Ze smiled faintly. “Ate my food and now you want to leave just like that?”

“I’ve already… done that, and let you see…”

Sun Ting immediately reverted to her original demeanor. Tang Ze was very satisfied. He took out his black pistol.

Seeing the gun, Sun Ting froze, but then quickly laughed. “Is that a lighter? Or a water gun? Who are you trying to scare?”

    Bang!

A gunshot. All the motion-sensor lights in the building turned on. Everyone in the complex was startled by the sound.

    Who?

    Who fired the gun?!

    Someone actually has a gun!

Sun Ting’s face was pale. Broken decorative pieces fell to the floor. This was the real deal.

  • I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 2

    Chapter 2: Water is Life

Of course, someone so beautiful would definitely have a boyfriend. Standing beside her was none other than Mr. Tall, Rich, and Handsome, who usually drove a Porsche 718.

“Let’s go, An Bai. We still have half a bucket of water at home. This rain won’t last long.”

Ding Feng said nonchalantly, comforting his girlfriend.

An Bai’s face was a little pale, but she still hummed in agreement, glanced at Tang Ze, and then went upstairs with her boyfriend.

Tang Ze smiled. “Even a voyeur has his pleasures.”

Back home, Tang Ze opened TikTok, only to find that it was shut down. All apps were closed except for WeChat.

The residents’ group chat was lively, filled with complaints and curses.

No one could sleep peacefully that night, hoping the rain outside would stop soon. However, the rain continued into the next day.

The third day, the fourth day, the fifth day, the sixth day.

    The rain kept falling.

During these days, intermittent smashing sounds and screams could be heard in the dead of night.

This oppressive atmosphere could drive a person mad.

But Tang Ze didn’t step outside his door. He feasted on delicacies every day, waiting for the rain to stop and then finding a big villa to enjoy himself.

On the seventh day, Tang Ze decided to check out the underground parking garage. The entire complex’s material exchange was taking place there.

As the elevator doors opened, the clamor poured in. The entire underground parking garage was like a marketplace.

Women took out designer bags and cosmetics to exchange for food, while men offered designer watches and even their 4090TI graphics cards to exchange for water.

“Hermès summer collection, in exchange for a case of mineral water.”

“Rolex Submariner for four bottles of water, don’t miss out!”

Unexpectedly, the graphics card sold quickly, immediately exchanged for five bottles of mineral water and a small bag of chips.

Tang Ze sighed. That whole setup must have cost at least forty thousand yuan, and now it was exchanged for this.

For now, there was still normal trading, but in three more days, it probably wouldn’t be like this.

Suddenly, Tang Ze saw his streamer neighbor also setting up a stall to sell cosmetics. He took out a bottle of mineral water, drinking it as he walked over.

Sun Ting saw Tang Ze passing by, her expression a bit unnatural. This delivery guy must have a lot of food at home, but seeing Tang Ze drinking water, a longing grew in Sun Ting’s heart.

Soon, Tang Ze saw An Bai, the beautiful flight attendant, also setting up a stall. Due to her outstanding looks, there were naturally many people visiting her stall.

“Beautiful, sleep with me once, and this bottle of water is yours.”

“Heh, I’ll offer two bottles of water.”

    “I’ll give three.”

The men started an auction, which made An Bai blush with anger.

    “Shameless!”

An Bai cursed angrily, packed up her stall, and walked towards the elevators, even glaring at Tang Ze innocently.

One of the men scoffed, “Putting on airs. Over there in the red-light district, you can have one for a bottle of water.”

    Red-light district?

Tang Ze looked around curiously. The so-called “red-light district” turned out to be an area by a warning light, where several scantily clad women stood, heavily made-up, and of questionable quality.

Suddenly, a burst of rapid footsteps echoed.

More than twenty young men appeared. The man in the lead had a fierce face and tattoos on his arms. The younger brothers behind him were also menacing, each holding steel pipes or even fruit knives.

This sudden scene silenced the area.

    “Rob them all!”

As soon as the boss spoke, the younger brothers rushed forward with grins.

    “Don’t steal my things!”

“You dare steal from me? You don’t want to live!

    Ah!

    My head!”

The boss chuckled, “Hand over your supplies and save yourselves the pain!”

    “Is there no law anymore?!

    Robbery in broad daylight!”

A man in his fifties stood up and shouted.

    “Law?

I, Ding Feng, am the law! Break his legs!”

A crack echoed as the man’s bone broke, silencing everyone. Facing such ruthless people, no one dared to resist. They obediently handed over their supplies to avoid being beaten for nothing.

“Bring those women standing over there!”

Ding Feng looked at the red-light district with a playful smile. His younger brothers also laughed lewdly. Most people were terrified by the apocalypse, but these people reveled in it.

They came and went quickly. After they left, the men cursed and grumbled.

“We barely had any supplies, and they stole them all!

Why didn’t any of you fight back?”

“Why didn’t you fight back? Talking big now.”

Mutual accusations began, and Tang Ze shook his head as he listened.

At this time, a gentle-looking man wearing glasses stepped forward and said, “There’s a rolling shutter door between each building. I suggest we seal off our building to avoid being plundered again. Even if we need to exchange supplies, we can do it through the gap in the shutter.”

The man’s words immediately gained approval. Without a word, everyone pulled down the surrounding rolling shutters and secured them with metal bars.

People in the other buildings saw this, their eyes lit up, and immediately followed suit.

The five buildings in the complex were immediately separated.

“I have another suggestion. The men should unite, search for supplies, and be able to resist those thugs.”

The man with glasses seemed to have leadership qualities, and immediately gained support.

But Tang Ze had no interest in working for others. It was the apocalypse, why work?

    Crazy.

Returning to his own floor, Tang Ze saw the streamer, Sun Ting, squatting by her door. He teased, “So you were hiding.”

Although this streamer wasn’t as beautiful as the flight attendant, she was still attractive.

Sun Ting wasn’t stupid. When she saw those men appear, she immediately ran into the emergency stairwell and came up the stairs.

Seeing Tang Ze’s amused expression, Sun Ting snorted and then asked, “Do you have any water left?”

“Whether I have water or not, what does it have to do with you?”

Tang Ze leaned against his door, arms crossed, teasing her.

    “Loser!”

With that, Sun Ting opened her door and slammed it shut.

Tang Ze couldn’t help but laugh. “I am a loser. Now that the apocalypse has arrived, I just want to survive. Let’s live and let live. I won’t bother you, and you don’t bother me.”

Three more days passed, and the rain still showed no sign of stopping. The five buildings had formed five factions and reached a certain agreement. A meeting was scheduled for that night in this building.

Tang Ze naturally had to attend. The location was the underground parking garage.

Tang Ze noticed that everyone looked much more haggard. An Bai’s lips were dry, and the streamer wasn’t much better off.

The man with glasses stood on a car hood with a megaphone. “Residents, my name is Dong Fei. I used to be a senior executive. Thank you for your trust in letting me lead.”

“The crisis has been going on for over a week now, and there’s been no rescue, no news from the authorities. Our supplies in Building Three are probably almost gone. Yesterday, someone from Building Four risked going out to scavenge for supplies. Although they lost one person, they at least got some food.”

Dong Fei’s words made everyone nod. They had seen it in the complex group chat yesterday. It was that Ding Feng who took his men out. They didn’t have tires, but they had wheel rims. It was just slower and a bit slippery. It was said that one of his men got a bit of rain on him, and then he was gone.

“So I suggest we also form a team to go out and search for supplies.”

However, after Dong Fei finished speaking, no one answered. After all, this was life-threatening work.

  • I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 1

Chapter 1: The Laws of the Apocalypse

Night fell, and Hua’an City, like a bright pearl, illuminated the dark night sky. Young people in daring attire strolled along the streets.

Tang Ze lowered his phone and looked at the traffic light. He felt a bit tired today and decided not to take any more delivery orders.

Vroom, vroom, vroom. The Lamborghini parked next to him roared like a beast. Tang Ze glanced over. A beautiful, refreshing young woman sat in the passenger seat, and the man driving winked at him, seemingly showing off.

Tang Ze scoffed. “Show off all you want. If I had the money, I’d buy a Wuling Hongguang and tow you away.”

Suddenly, a strange sound came from Tang Ze’s Bluetooth headset.

“Time remaining until the apocalypse: 3 hours, 31 minutes, and 13 seconds.”

    “Sending Apocalypse Gift Pack 1.0.”

Hearing this inexplicable voice, Tang Ze was filled with confusion. “Who is this? Is this a prank?”

However, his phone displayed: “Open ‘Apocalypse Gift Pack 1.0’?”

“A virus, it must be a phone virus.”

    Beep, beep, beep!

The car behind him started honking, urging him to move. Tang Ze accidentally touched the “accept” button.

    “Infinite Supplies: Received.”

    “Body Enhancement: Received.”

    “Weapons and Equipment 1.0: Received.”

“Note: Items can be extracted with your mind.”

“Extracting ‘Apocalypse Gift Pack 2.0’ requires upgrading the energy bar.”

Hearing this icy voice, Tang Ze couldn’t help but shiver. “Could this be real?”

“Heh, if you’re serious, give me an AK-47 I can barely hold.”

When a battered AK-47 appeared between his legs, Tang Ze almost freaked out. “Disappear!” he quickly thought.

As the weapon vanished, Tang Ze breathed a sigh of relief, but his heart pounded uncontrollably. This came too suddenly, he wasn’t prepared at all.

He immediately made a U-turn and rushed towards his rented apartment.

Jinyuan Residential Complex was a bit far from the city center. The monthly rent of two thousand yuan made Tang Ze’s heart ache. He parked his electric scooter to charge and hurried home.

The 50-square-meter small apartment felt a bit spacious for Tang Ze. Taking off his helmet revealed a sunny face. He was only twenty-two years old and had been working for a few years, as a security guard, a waiter. He had no relatives.

After washing his face, Tang Ze sat on the sofa. “It’s best to cram on some apocalypse survival rules first.”

He immediately opened a novel app and started reading.

Two hours later, Tang Ze understood one thing: self-interest is paramount.

Opening the weapons inventory, he saw all kinds of pistols, automatic rifles, sniper rifles, and ammunition, but that was it. There were no heavier weapons, only light firearms.

As for the body enhancement, Tang Ze took out a kitchen knife and bent it effortlessly. His fingers could poke into the cement wall.

Looking at the dust on his fingers, a smile grew on Tang Ze’s face.

He took out a pistol and took a deep breath.

“Come on, apocalypse. I’m tired of this life. I’m not a little brother, I’m a big brother.”

Midnight arrived. The sound of raindrops echoed outside. It gradually began to drizzle. Terrifying screams suddenly filled the entire residential complex. Tang Ze immediately went to the balcony and saw several corpses lying on the road.

Someone who had been taking shelter from the rain tried to help, only to be touched by the rain, which corroded their body like sulfuric acid, and they collapsed with a bloodcurdling scream.

At the same time, lights gradually came on throughout the complex. People stood on their balconies, looking out in confusion, not knowing what was happening.

Everyone’s phones simultaneously received an emergency notification:

“All residents, please do not leave your homes!!!

Do not get caught in the rain!!!

    Await rescue!!!”

Tang Ze frowned slightly and turned to look at the neighboring balcony. A beautiful girl also looked towards him.

Having lived here for a year, Tang Ze naturally recognized his neighbor. She was a live streamer, quite attractive, with a curvy figure, just a bit…

“What are you looking at, loser?”

She said and turned back into her apartment.

Tang Ze smiled indifferently. “Even in the apocalypse, she still thinks she’s something special.”

In the apocalypse, women = tradable goods.

A piece of bread can do anything.

Twenty years old, and he hadn’t even had a chance to fall in love before the apocalypse arrived. What a pity, though he did have some fun with those adult videos.

“Better make some instant noodles to calm my nerves. Wait, I have unlimited supplies! Why not have some Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup to brush my teeth?”

Enjoying the delicacies only the rich could afford, Tang Ze took out his phone and scrolled through TikTok. The whole world was in a panic.

Soon, an emergency message was issued: all water sources were contaminated. Tang Ze shrugged. “Whatever.”

“I wonder if in a few days, a glass of water will be enough to make that woman next door kneel.”

    “Heh, calling me a loser.”

“I’ll go downstairs and check out the situation.”

As soon as he reached the first floor, it was a sea of people, all lined up outside the convenience store to buy water. More people came downstairs to watch, but everyone’s faces were filled with fear. Several corpses lay outside, stimulating everyone’s nerves, making them agitated.

    “Hey, don’t push!”

“Cut the line, you son of a b*tch!”

With those words, two men immediately started fighting. Women stood aside in panic. Taking advantage of the chaos, several men rushed into the convenience store and looted the supplies. The owner couldn’t stop them.

Within minutes, the supplies were ransacked by the men. The women couldn’t get their hands on anything.

“Don’t you men know ladies first?!”

A middle-aged woman wearing glasses yelled.

    “Ladies your a**!”

A strong man scoffed. What time was it to be talking about such things? There were corpses lying outside.

With the arrival of the apocalypse, men’s advantages were immediately apparent.

The men who failed to grab supplies started thinking of other ways. Driving out to buy food, but looking at the corpses outside, they dared not take a single step. And they could see with their own eyes that the tires were slowly corroding. It seemed the rain could corrode rubber. Some people threw their umbrellas out to test, and found that the umbrellas were fine, but what if even a single drop touched them?

Tang Ze, leaning against the wall, breathed a sigh of relief. In less than an hour, order had begun to break down.

This little bit of water wouldn’t last long. Those with bottled water at home would be fine, but once all the food was consumed, the evil side of human nature would erupt completely.

Looking at the drizzle outside, Tang Ze began to formulate a plan in his mind.

However, a beautiful figure caught his attention. What caught his eye were those bright eyes, like glistening jewels. Delicate eyebrows outlined exquisite lines. Red lips like cherry blossoms revealed a charming radiance. A slender and graceful neck, like a work of art, elegant and soft, like the stem of a lily, inviting one to touch.

Her figure was like a melodious tune, with naturally flowing curves. A slender waist, full hips, every part was just right.

Tang Ze, a delivery guy, couldn’t possibly know her, but she was among the top three beauties in the complex. And she seemed to be a flight attendant. He had bumped into her several times in the elevator, wearing her uniform and pulling a small suitcase.
