Chapter 224: Expected, Yet a Surprise Attack
“Can I see Harry?” Paul asked Charles, who was standing beside him.
He had been working tirelessly for the Temple of the Celestial God, constructing the teleportation magic circle. Not only had he not received any reward, but he had only seen Harry twice.
Fortunately, Harry’s condition was indeed improving, which reassured Paul.

“Which woman are you talking about?” Charles looked at Paul.
He didn’t associate it with the Pope because, in his mind, the Pope had always been male.
After all, the Pope and the Empress of the Temple of the Celestial God had always been a man and a woman. This tradition had lasted for nearly ten thousand years.

Paul shrugged off Charles’s hand. Although he still wasn’t Charles’s match, the gap wasn’t that big anymore.
If it were a one-on-one fight, he was confident that he could escape.
But unfortunately, he was not only in the headquarters of the Temple of the Celestial God, but his freedom was also restricted by Harry’s condition.

He touched it with his other hand, feeling the same dampness and warmth.
He looked closely and saw a patch of bright red blood.
“Thump!”
