Upon seeing the creamy expanse revealed before him, Kailun reached out and, ignoring Ella’s panicked expression, grasped it firmly in his hand.
“Full and evenly textured, engraved with a complete magic circuit, smooth and well-defined internal pathways. A truly exquisite magic amplifier. So, this is what you wanted to show me?”
He held the pendant nestled between her breasts, examining it closely.
‘That bastard!’ Ella cursed inwardly. He had squeezed her with surprising force when retrieving the pendant. The pain was still lingering.
She didn’t need to look to know that the area was now red and bruised.
“Have you ever wondered how I obtained this?” She took a deep breath, suppressing her anger. This pendant was the key to the mysterious background she had cultivated.
She would occasionally display the magic amplifier necklace, casually mentioning that it was a gift from a close friend.
Then, she would subtly hint that this friend held a high position and that their relationship was… special.
This tactic had never failed her. It had even fooled Loston and the others.
But this time, caught off guard, she had not only exposed herself to Kailun but had also been groped by him. It was a complete loss.
Kailun scoffed. “How you obtained it? It’s simple. You found it, of course. Or was it a gift? A magic amplifier capable of boosting magic power by thirty percent is practically a national treasure, even for the entire Xiya Kingdom.”
He tugged on the necklace as if it were a dog leash, forcing Ella to lean closer until their faces were only ten centimeters apart.
Ella, unaccustomed to such close proximity with a man, felt uncomfortable as she stared at his handsome face. “You’re quite the joker. As if something like this could be found lying around.”
His deep gaze and warm breath on her face made her feel completely exposed.
“Of course it can be found. And not just a magic amplifier. You also found fifty gold coins, thirty silver coins, and a chest full of magic books, am I right?”
He continued his relentless advance. They were so close now that her ample bosom was pressed against his chest, flattened into a pancake.
The force of his pull on the necklace had left a red mark on her neck.
However, Ella was oblivious to her physical discomfort. Her attention was completely consumed by his words.
He was absolutely right. Even the numbers were accurate. It was as if he had been there himself.
‘How does he know?’
‘It’s impossible! I’ve never told anyone.’

Her composure finally shattered.

He tugged on the necklace again, their noses almost touching.

A triumphant smile spread across his lips. Whether it was due to psychological factors or his talent, he found this feeling incredibly exhilarating.

Her pupils constricted. She couldn’t detect a hint of deception in his voice.
For the first time, she saw him as an omniscient monster.
She realized that without her final trump card, she was nothing but a lamb to the slaughter.
However, she hadn’t lost all reason. If Kailun had gone through all this trouble, he must have a motive.
She summoned her remaining courage. “Why? Why are you doing this? Is it just to have your way with me?”
Her hoarse voice amused him. “I told you before, didn’t I? I want a pretty, obedient dog. And you seem perfect for the role.”
He released the necklace, letting her stumble back until she hit the tree behind her. Her legs buckled, and she collapsed onto the ground.
She hugged her knees, wanting to cry, but she refused to show weakness in front of her enemy. She bit her lip, stifling her sobs.
She looked like a helpless puppy. Anyone else might have taken pity on her.
But Kailun felt no sympathy. In the future, she would bring countless families to ruin. Her exploitation would surpass even that of the nobles and the royal family.

He had stripped away all her defenses, leaving her feeling utterly insignificant.

He withdrew his hand and silenced her with a gentle gesture. “Please don’t cry. My patience is limited. You have ten seconds to decide. If you don’t, I’ll choose for you. A clean death.”
Ella: “Wait, I…”
Kailun: “Ten!”
Ella: “Please, don’t do this. I know I was wrong.”
Kailun: “Nine!”
Ella: “Give me more time! Just ten minutes!”
Kailun: “Eight!”
Ella: “I beg you!!!”
Kailun: “Five!”
“Three!”
“Two!”
His sudden acceleration caught her off guard. Desperate to survive, she clung to his leg. “I’ll do it! I’ll be your dog…”
“Sob… sob… sob…”
From this moment on, Ella’s life belonged to Kailun. No matter what heights she achieved in the future, she would be his loyal companion. This marked the beginning of her new life.

Hearing his self-introduction, Ella realized that even her fabricated background wouldn’t have made a difference.
The Kate family was powerful enough to rival the royal family. Kailun’s status even surpassed that of Princess Hilna.
Her master was a truly formidable figure.
