As a villain, I just want them to behave 264

Chapter 264: Kailun is a Demon!

Sharp teeth pierced his skin, and a long, drawn-out gulp sounded beside his ear.

The slight sting didn’t bother Kailun. In fact, as Ottovia Nuonuo’s tongue lapped at the wound, he felt a strange sensation.

His body temperature rose slightly, as if he was being affected by something. It was hard not to suspect that her blood-sucking had other effects.

What race did Ottovia belong to, anyway?

Kailun glanced at her long, pointed ears. They looked similar to the elf sisters at his manor.

However, the small wings on her back indicated that she wasn’t an elf. Her blood-red vertical pupils added a touch of exotic charm.

She also had sharp horns that resembled those of a dragon.

Overall, she was aesthetically pleasing and alluring.

He couldn’t tell her race. He would have to ask her later.

As he was pondering, Kailun suddenly felt a burning gaze. Turning his head, he saw Fox staring at him resentfully.

He had been too busy lately and had neglected her. Now, facing her directly, he felt awkward, a sense of guilt washing over him, as if he had played with a girl and then abandoned her.

He smiled sheepishly at Fox, but she snorted and turned away, clearly angry.

In contrast, Illusion, who had spent more time with Kailun, didn’t seem jealous. Seeing this amusing scene, she hid behind them and chuckled.

Isabella, accustomed to such scenes, shook her head helplessly. If it were anyone else, they would have been “attacked” with a kitchen knife countless times.

However, as one of the beneficiaries, she wouldn’t comment too much. Thanks to her close proximity to Fate, she had made significant progress in the path of Fate Magic.

The current scene brought back memories of her previous life. To her, those extra memories were like a dream, important but not that important.

They were important because they had helped her grow significantly in Fate Magic.

Compared to her past life, her current life was much more interesting. She experienced something new every day, and everyone in the manor was talented. She loved it here.

The most dejected one was Fate. Having exhausted all her means, her remaining power was meager.

She hung her head, sighing every three seconds. She had been so close.

Perhaps her luck was just bad.

As the embodiment of Fate, she felt for the first time that her luck wasn’t that good after all.

Now, Fate could only accept her fate. Even if she committed suicide and was reborn, she wouldn’t have another chance.

Every rebirth would take hundreds or even thousands of years. By the time she returned, Carol and Ottovia might have already achieved transcendence.

She could still handle Ottovia, the Unlucky Entity, but with the addition of Carol, it would be impossible.

All paths were blocked. All she could do was surrender to fate.

‘I’ve almost become a pet. How embarrassing.’

She glanced at Ottovia, who was clinging to Kailun, and sighed again. It seemed Ottovia’s “capture” was imminent.

She had schemed for so many years, and everything had benefited Kailun.

Aaah, how frustrating!

[Fate’s goodwill -2, Total goodwill 28]

Kailun, sensing the change in Fate’s goodwill, looked at her. He supported Ottovia’s bottom with one hand and stroked Fate’s head with the other. “Miss Fate, are you looking at me like that because you want a sip? Blood is a no-go, but Holy Water should suffice.”

Fate, now covered by a robe that Fox had found for her, bit her lip and finally said, “You win.”

These words meant she had completely given up.

“You flatter me.”

Kailun chuckled, the weight on his shoulder suddenly lightening.

“I’m curious about the loophole you mentioned earlier.” Fate looked up at the crack in the sky. “You don’t have much time left. If you don’t act now, it’ll be too late.”

Kailun carefully sensed his current state. His special ability had returned to normal. He could once again allocate his attributes, even Carol’s power.

He had asked Carol and Fox about his special ability before, but they couldn’t give him a definite answer.

Fox had stolen Fate and changed the original fate lines. Carol had destroyed the world and restarted new fate lines. As for why his power manifested in this way, it was unknown.

“Just wait and see. You might be surprised.”

Kailun patted Ottovia’s back. Her aura had returned to normal.

She hadn’t stopped sucking his blood because she found it more effective than the “Holy Water.”

After being reminded by Kailun, Ottovia reluctantly withdrew her fangs, but she didn’t move her mouth away from his neck. She continued to lick the wound with her nimble tongue.

One, to help him heal with her saliva, which had regenerative properties. Two, to ingest the overflowing blood. She wouldn’t waste anything.

Since it felt rather pleasant, Kailun didn’t stop her.

Fate kept staring at the crack in the sky, lost in thought.

Everything was back on track, and everyone returned to their tasks.

……

“Aaah! Why? Why is this happening?!”

Paul, imprisoned in the dungeon, woke up with a start. After experiencing the scene in the valley, he remembered everything.

He finally understood why Kailun had targeted him, why he had always been a step ahead. Most of his questions were answered.

That damn Kailun had stolen his sister, his aunt, his childhood sweetheart… He had taken everything.

He was filled with hatred. Not only had he been easily killed by Carol in the previous life, but he had also been suppressed by Kailun in this life, suffering so much injustice because of Kailun’s revenge.

“Why are you doing this to me?!”

He punched the wall in agony.

The most despairing thing was that he had lost all hope of turning the tables. Now, he was just a forgotten prisoner.

Kailun hadn’t even looked at him in that scene. His head had been severed by Afra’s casual strike.

Being ignored by his enemy was the biggest blow.

“Paul, is that you, Paul?!” Harry’s voice came from the next cell.

“Harry?” Paul stopped punching the wall.

Harry quickly replied, “It’s me, Harry. It seems we’ve both been betrayed by the Pope.”

“Bang!”

Paul punched the wall again. “Not just the Pope, but also Kailun, who’s disguised as the Pope. He’s been using us all along. We’ve become his dirty gloves, discarded after he’s done with us. He’s a demon! He deserves to die!”

“Sigh…”

Hearing Paul’s words, Harry sighed deeply. It was over, completely over.
