25. New Moon
Calysia reached out and touched Reina’s lips.
Reina initially wanted to dodge, but the hand on her waist held her firmly like a pair of tongs, its fingers slowly roaming and massaging her back.
That familiar technique, like petting a cat.
And just now, those actions, including stroking her chin and head, were incredibly enjoyable for Reina, like a massage, so much so that she inadvertently let out little pet-like sounds.
“Purr… purr…”
A dragon’s skin was covered in a layer of invisible scales. Unlike fragile human skin, it could not only withstand sharp punctures but also, like a cat’s, find friction and massage pleasurable.
She never thought there would be a day when she would be treated like a kitten!
Even more infuriating was that she couldn’t resist, because Calysia was even controlling the Dragon Mark with one hand!
Then, amidst the combined pleasure and comfort, Calysia seized the opportunity once again—
She removed her hand, now covered in glistening droplets, and took advantage of the opening, directly attacking Reina’s lips. When Reina tried to push her away, Calysia’s tongue began to explore her mouth, quickly overwhelming her.
Reina’s legs, originally struggling in their black stockings, settled down. For a sense of security, she couldn’t help but wrap her arms around the Dragon King’s waist.
It was as if all escape routes were blocked, and the only exit was occupied by Calysia, who was gradually closing in, forcing her into a corner.
She was truly skilled! Why was she so proficient? Where did she learn this?
The hand Calysia had on the Dragon Mark suddenly released some magic power. That magic power, unique to the Dragon King, was practically the last straw for Reina.
Calysia released her, and the poor little maid was already unconscious, little hearts appearing in her lovestruck eyes as if hypnotized.
“Calysia… ♡”
“Call me Master. You are my vassal and servant. Isn’t it only natural to call me Master~?”
“Mas… ter ♡”
Having already said it once, Reina easily said it a second time.
Suddenly, a wave of shame washed over her, engulfing her mind like a flood, forcing out the last vestiges of her reason.
But when her reason returned, Reina recalled the shame of that moment, that “Master,” and almost fainted from anger.
“Reina finally called me Master. See, it’s not that hard to accept. You just need to get used to it.”
Reina, her sanity restored, was fuming.
But her angry eyes were no match for the blush on her fair cheeks, looking like a wife putting up token resistance to her master’s affections.
She pulled her hands back from Calysia’s waist and gently pushed the Dragon King away, forcing herself to stand up.
“Master Calysia, if you do this again, I’ll… I’ll!!”
For a moment, Reina didn’t know how to punish Calysia.
In her confusion, out of a desire for revenge, she blurted out: “If you do this again, I won’t sleep with you!”
But upon hearing these words, Calysia actually let go of Reina, a hint of apology on her face:
“Reina, I was a bit too much just now. I’m sorry. Hmm… how about I give you a title? Or, you can choose one yourself?”
“Why bring that up now? Mmph…”
Reina panted, trying to express her disgust, but she couldn’t avoid the lingering aftereffects still affecting her mind, making her blush.
She suddenly remembered something important.
I wasn’t supposed to be sleeping with her in the first place, was I? If this becomes a punishment, then wouldn’t sleeping with her and warming her bed become a matter of course?!
That damned Dragon King, playing with my body and then apologizing. Is there anyone more despicable than her in this world?
She definitely couldn’t give Calysia any leeway.
She glared at Calysia, pretending not to hear her words, and immediately turned and left the dining room.
Her mind involuntarily replayed the previous scene, only making her feel more ashamed and annoyed. To distract herself, she picked up a broom and mop and started cleaning the second floor, even the stubborn dirt in the window cracks.
Her original plan was to use this morning to think and plan her strategy for finding humans, or how to use Miss Ann to locate them, and then decide whether to kill them, spare them, or use them as puppets.
But Reina couldn’t focus on anything.
Her mind was filled with Calysia, the words she had spoken, and the scene of her own outburst just now, her disrespect towards Calysia… These fragments clung to her like ghosts.
So, she spent the day in a daze, restless. Even during her library reading time, she couldn’t concentrate.
The moon outside the window grew dimmer, and another day in the Eternal Night Era was coming to an end.
Holding a book of literature and history, she twirled her pen, unconsciously looking out the window and muttering:
“Who’s doing this for you, dummy?”
“You, Dragon King, are so stupid, you can’t even see that I want to rebel against you.”
“Next time, I won’t give you a chance. Definitely not!”
Just like that, she completely wasted an entire day.
…
At night, Reina went to Calysia’s bedroom.
While Calysia was taking a bath, she had already washed herself clean and lay down in bed, covering herself with the quilt.
The temperature in the bed gradually rose with Reina’s presence, until it was filled with her warm, sweet fragrance.
Reina was sure she wasn’t crazy.
Based on the dummy Dragon King’s personality, if she wasn’t in bed today, Calysia would drag her there by force—based on recent observations, she couldn’t stand it, couldn’t even survive, without her!
Moreover, she had also promised to sleep with her this morning. If she didn’t keep her word, she wouldn’t be a competent maid, and this would increase the risk of her identity being exposed.
She had to outwardly obey the Dragon King to secretly carry out her plan and overthrow the Four Kings’ rule!
Sure enough, a few minutes later, the fragrant Dragon King, wrapped in a bath towel, walked into the bedroom.
Seeing that Reina was already in bed, warming it for her, Calysia became even more delighted. She took off her shoes and bathrobe and slipped under the covers.
The warm, familiar fragrance of Reina greeted her.
“Reina~”
Just as Calysia was about to whisper some sweet nothings, Reina unexpectedly turned her back, as if sulking, giving the Dragon King no chance to speak.
Seeing Calysia’s silence, Reina felt pleased.
Warming the bed was her duty, pleasing her was a favor!
Dragon King, what are you going to do now?
Based on their morning conversation, Reina realized that Calysia valued her companionship in bed very much.
I’m here to warm your bed, but I won’t pay attention to you. No matter how you bully me, I won’t submit to you!
Ah~ poor Dragon King, finally thinking she could win me over, only to be rendered helpless by me, standing on the moral high ground~♡
A great victory!
But just then, Calysia reached out and touched her back:
“Reina~, are you still angry with me?”
“…” Reina remained silent.
“Have you heard of the [Silver Dragon Guardians]? Actually, that’s just an old title.”
“They are called [Demon Moons], the four strongest dragons besides me.”
“Their number remains at four, eternally unchanging.”
“I’ve been thinking about it all day, and I’ve prepared a [Demon Moon] title for you too.”
Reina’s body twitched.
So, it wasn’t that the Dragon King wouldn’t give her a title, but that she thought ordinary titles weren’t worthy of her.
Reina felt something catch in her throat, and she spoke softly, testing the waters:
“You’re lying. Doesn’t [Demon Moon] already have enough members?”
Calysia wrapped her arms around Reina’s waist, and then two warm mounds pressed against her back, making her blush involuntarily.
“Who knows? My best subordinate…”
“[Azure Scale New Moon]”
