Citrus Love Little Green Tea 26

26. Mistress’s Meow Meow Magic

The piece of paper drifted down onto Ruo Xiaoxi’s face like a falling leaf.

Ow… I fall down so much; I’m turning into a klutzy loli…

“What’s this?” She picked up the paper and turned it over.

A seemingly ordinary note, filled with writing. Seeing the word “sister” at the beginning, she immediately knew it was from Chris.

“Aha! I triggered a hidden event!”

Just like in those novels where the protagonist stumbles upon something that opens up a whole new world, was this the beginning of her epic vampire journey?

The thought filled Ruo Xiaoxi with excitement.

She eagerly unfolded the note, eager to see what Chris had left for her.

[My dearest little sister, since you have opened this ancient tome of magic…]

No, no, no, I can’t even read the first sentence, it’s too embarrassing! Chris, we can learn magic without these cringey lines, please! I’ll be the laughingstock of the other kids!

If the magic spells are all like this, I’ll be too embarrassed to use them.

[A-hem, a little sense of ceremony is necessary (manually adjusting tone). Anyway, Xiaoxi, since you’ve opened this book, you must be curious about the mysterious realm you don’t understand. This means you’re mentally prepared to accept and learn this mystical power.]

[I imagine you must feel lost and unsure after becoming my little sister, a vampire. But don’t worry, it’s my responsibility as your older sister to nurture you and help you adapt to your new identity.]

“This girl, she really is treating me like a pet…”

Eh? I’ve played a lot of raising sim games, but this is my first time being the one raised. Knowing someone is dedicated to your growth feels… strange, but not bad.

Hopefully, she won’t raise me in a weird way, like teaching me which parts of a vampire’s wings are sensitive to touch. I definitely don’t need that kind of knowledge!

She continued reading—

[I imagine you’re most curious about how to use magic. Casting a spell requires many elements: the intonation and speed of the incantation, control over elemental energy, the casting posture, etc…]

[Come, try following my instructions. First, find a full-length mirror and stand with your back to it.]

“A mirror… it must be some kind of magical medium. Let’s see.” Ruo Xiaoxi, note in hand, walked over to the full-length mirror in her room. Her petite figure was perfectly reflected in the glass.

So, turning my back to it means not facing the mirror, right? Standing with my back to it…

[Now, spread your legs, toes pointing inwards at a slight angle. Lean forward slightly, and at the same time, tighten your core and stick your butt out as far as you can.]

“Spread my legs, toes pointing inwards… is that pigeon-toed? Oh~ Those magical girls with staffs do seem to stand like that when casting spells.”

I thought it was just cute; I didn’t realize it was an actual magic stance!

Leaning forward, sticking my butt out… this is a bit tiring…

[Finally, bend your wrists, curl your fingers inwards into fists, put on an enthusiastic and joyful expression, and say in a cute, clingy voice, “Welcome home, Mistress.”]

“Even the expression matters? It’s more complicated than I thought… This spell, translated by Chris, is so weird. Welcome home, Mistress…”

[Meow~]

“Meow… wait, wait a minute.”

Ruo Xiaoxi, diligently following the instructions, suddenly realized something was wrong. She turned to look at herself in the mirror and was mortified by her current posture!

Although… it is a bit cute… She was momentarily charmed by her own reflection.

But who am I sticking my butt out for!?

Ruo Xiaoxi quickly grabbed the note and read the next line—

[And there you have it, an adorable, meow meow maid girl!]

“…” Ruo Xiaoxi’s face darkened, a vein throbbing on her forehead. She crumpled the note in her hand, a beautiful girl enraged.

She tricked me… magic? I thought she was going to teach me magic!!!

As if anticipating Ruo Xiaoxi’s reaction, Chris had continued writing: [Eh? You’re asking about magic? I didn’t say that was magic? You must have assumed. I just thought Xiaoxi would look cute in a maid outfit acting like a little kitty, so I had you try it.]

She did that on purpose!

I’m done, I don’t love her anymore, I don’t need this sister!

Ruo Xiaoxi angrily crumpled the note into a ball and threw it at the trash can. It bounced off the rim and hit her on the forehead before falling to the floor.

Ruo Xiaoxi froze mid-throw, the air thick with awkward silence…

Aaaaaah!” She flew into a rage, kicking the trash can, but lost her balance and stepped into it instead, sending trash flying everywhere like snowflakes.

Finally, she squatted down, pouting, and began picking up the scattered trash, thinking, Today is such a bad day…

One day, she would get her revenge on Chris. She had figured it out; the reason she could never overpower her sister was because her wings weren’t developed enough.

Every time Chris came to drink her blood, she would spread her large wings, enveloping Ruo Xiaoxi as if declaring ownership before partaking.

Being enveloped by those large wings was strangely comforting, like being loved and protected.

This must be the standard of vampire strength. Once she developed her own little wings into large ones, she would rise up, transform into a dominant older sister, and ravage Chris ( )!

Hmph, when I’m stronger, I’ll kick Chris’s butt!

She wasn’t brave enough yet. She was too weak, all bark and no bite, but she had a rebellious spirit! She wouldn’t lose in terms of attitude!
