Chapter 14
“I signed a wager agreement with your brother.” Yu Zhao suppressed a smile. She had initially intended to play along with Bo Chi’s little act, but seeing the girl’s dazed expression, she found herself genuinely amused, wanting to tease her further. “But perhaps you don’t know, this agreement also includes our marriage.”
Yu Zhao had always been hesitant about this point, worried that the agreement would taint their marriage in Bo Chi’s eyes.
After a moment of thought, she blended truth and falsehood, saying earnestly, “I agreed to the marriage because I like you. From the very beginning, you’ve been the only one in my heart and eyes.”
Bo Chi looked at her with a complicated expression. “Doing this… are you being fair to my brother?”
Yu Zhao almost burst out laughing again.
She coughed lightly, ruffling Bo Chi’s hair, still immersed in their little game, and continued playing along. “What’s unfair about it? I’m helping him deal with his parents’ nagging about marriage, and he gets to enjoy his freedom. It’s a win-win situation.”
“Don’t worry.” Yu Zhao’s lips curved into a smile, her beautiful face like a flower surrounded by thorns, both alluring and dangerous. “Even though we’ll be husband and wife in name only, I won’t let him touch me… Everything I have is yours.”
Bo Chi’s eyes teared up. “Nonsense! You’ve already taken everything I have!”
Yu Zhao raised an eyebrow, then understanding dawned. She casually unbuttoned her collar.
Bo Chi panicked. “W-What are you doing?!”
Yu Zhao bent down, capturing her slender ankle as she tried to retreat, her eyes flirtatious and seductive. “Aren’t you hinting that you want me? Come here, I’ll give it to you.”
Bo Chi, accustomed to Yu Zhao’s cold and imposing demeanor, was momentarily captivated by her alluring smile, her black hair cascading around her red lips. She was pulled back into Yu Zhao’s embrace.
Their soft, black hair intertwined, their breaths mingling with the faint scent of perfume, making their cheeks flush. Bo Chi felt dizzy, only realizing after a long moment, “Wait, didn’t you say you were giving it to me?!”
Yu Zhao hummed lazily, her voice husky with laughter. “Didn’t I just give you a finger?”
Bo Chi instantly realized she’d been tricked. Anger surged through her as she pushed Yu Zhao down onto the bed.
The pampered young heiress, however, ultimately failed to vent her frustration, thoroughly… enjoyed by the resourceful, less privileged classmate.
Only when Bo Chi, utterly spent, felt her stomach rumbling with hunger, did Yu Zhao mercifully withdraw her hand, chuckling. “Stop thinking about escaping me. From now on, you’re mine alone.”
“If you disobey…” Yu Zhao’s voice suddenly softened, as if whispering sweet nothings to her lover. “I’ll keep you at home, bind your limbs, dismiss all the staff, and ensure that the only living thing you see is me.”
Bo Chi, sprawled lifelessly on the bed, stiffened, instinctively burrowing under the covers, hiding her head.
She had to admit, she was terrified.
Yu Immersed in roleplaying with her wife Zhao chuckled softly, mistaking Bo Chi’s fear for approval of her acting and lines. Feeling a surge of pride and joy, she stood up gracefully. “Rest well. I’ll go make dinner.”
Bo Chi, thoroughly chastened, hesitantly poked her head out from under the covers. “Do you need any help…?”
Yu Zhao, her hair cascading down her back, glanced back meaningfully. “Are your legs working again?”
Bo Chi froze, then quickly retreated back under the covers.
—Yu Zhao, this pervert! Why did she want to have… kitchen play even while cooking?!
**
Over the next few days, although a bit subdued, Bo Chi was surprisingly obedient.
Because she was self-aware enough to know that if Yu Zhao and Bo Ji joined forces, she, a useless little rich girl, had no chance of escaping. By lying low, she might be able to dissuade Yu Zhao from her dark thoughts of imprisoning her.
With this reasoning, Bo Chi let go of her worries.
In any case, she’d successfully disrupted her nemesis’s mission. What more could she ask for?
Yu Zhao was oblivious to Bo Chi’s passive mindset. She only sensed that Bo Chi was becoming increasingly accustomed to her, occasionally even showing signs of dependence.
This made her very happy, fueling her desire to be with her wife every moment.
After enduring a few weekdays of work, she heard that Bo Chi’s parents were returning from abroad and needed to be picked up from the airport. She immediately cleared her schedule and went to find Bo Chi early in the morning.
Bo Chi had just woken up, her long, black hair loose around her shoulders. Her delicate face, free of makeup, was still captivatingly beautiful.
Yu Zhao walked over familiarly. Seeing Bo Chi had just changed and was sitting at her vanity table, she felt a surge of affection. Picking up an eyebrow pencil, she smiled. “Let me help you.”
Bo Chi was used to her whims. She closed her eyes, tilting her face upwards, her obedience making Yu Zhao’s heart flutter. Her body acted faster than her mind as she leaned down, capturing Bo Chi’s soft lips.
After a light good morning kiss, Yu Zhao released the blushing Bo Chi, gently lifting her chin and meticulously applying her makeup.
Bo Chi’s eyelashes fluttered, her heart inexplicably racing in the quiet and intimate atmosphere.
After finishing the makeup, Yu Zhao put down the lipstick. Noticing Bo Chi’s bare feet, she knelt down and, lifting the girl’s delicate foot, fastened the diamond-studded straps of her heels.
Bo Chi looked down at her, then couldn’t resist reaching out and stroking her seaweed-like hair.
Yu Zhao, without looking up, asked softly, “Do you like it?”
Bo Chi nodded honestly. “I do.”
Yu Zhao finished fastening the shoes and stood up, smiling. “Then be gentler next time in bed. Leave some for me to… please you.”
Bo Chi blushed crimson, playfully swatting at her.
Yu Zhao chuckled, pulling her into an embrace and kissing her forehead. “Good girl. It’s almost time. Let’s go.”
Her words soothed Bo Chi instantly. Although feigning reluctance, Bo Chi obediently let Yu Zhao hold her hand.
After they got into the car, just as the driver pulled out of the villa, a young man blocked their way.
“Yu Zhao!” Lin Ye shouted. “I saw you enter the Bo villa. You must be in this car! Come out!”
Bo Chi instantly pulled away from Yu Zhao, straightening up and warning, “You’re not allowed to go out!”
Yu Zhao blinked. “I’ll just ask…”
“No!” Bo Chi was most wary of the attraction between the male and female leads. Her heiress temper flared. “Stay in the car. I’ll go see what he wants.”
Yu Zhao outwardly pondered, inwardly enjoying her wife’s jealousy. She smiled. “Alright, I’ll wait for you in the car.”
Bo Chi’s expression softened. After humming in agreement, she got out of the car, her heels clicking against the ground with an air of authority.
She walked up to Lin Ye, sizing him up, and said bluntly, “Well, if it isn’t Lin. Haven’t seen you in a few days. Why are you looking so down and out?”
