After Breaking Up, the Gentle Older Sister Went Crazy 50

Chapter 50

The recording studio was spacious, the lounge large enough to accommodate many people. As they entered, the group inside was still chatting.

Lin Yusheng was stirring the ice in her coffee, occasionally joining the conversation. Seeing them enter, she called out, “You’re here?”

Her voice lowered slightly as she saw Shen Shiwu—the woman’s aura was a bit intimidating.

“We were discussing the script, everyone is praising your revisions, the added details make the characters more well-rounded.”

Since winning the award, Jiang Siyi had been showered with compliments, so she was used to it. “It’s okay, the original script was already good.”

Ah Yun, who had written the script, was still stuffing her face with steamed buns. Hearing this, she waved her hand dismissively, her words muffled. “It’s just okay.”

The atmosphere was relaxed, and Shen Shiwu felt slightly relieved. But thinking of Kong Yin, her expression darkened, her gaze turning cold.

“This is…?” Ah Yun scratched her head, not knowing that this was the generous investor.

Jiang Siyi held Shen Shiwu’s arm. “My girlfriend.”

No one present was against same-sex relationships, but besides Lin Yusheng, the others were still surprised by the news.

After all, Jiang Siyi had always seemed aloof, never seen with a partner, always either writing or sleeping.

Ah Yun almost choked on her steamed bun.

She quickly swallowed it and exclaimed, “Beautiful people should be together, such a perfect match!”

Are you kidding me? This is our investor, a walking money bag.

Better suck up to her and say something nice. What if she’s happy and invests another 200,000?

Her thoughts were beautiful, and her words followed suit. “Have a seat, have a seat, don’t just stand there, you must be tired.”

So, a few minutes later, the three of them were sitting side by side, Jiang Siyi in the middle, feeling something was off.

Sensing the low pressure from her left, she had a sudden epiphany. Excusing herself to get some water, when she returned, she sat behind Shen Shiwu.

Jiang Siyi took a sip of water, her gaze lingering on Shen Shiwu’s back.

After all these years, Shen Shiwu hadn’t changed much physically, except for becoming even more charming.

She stared, remembering how she used to secretly look at Shen Shiwu like this when she was eighteen.

The paper cup in her hand suddenly disappeared.

Jiang Siyi watched as Shen Shiwu took her water and finished it in one gulp, not leaving a single drop.

Bullying her at home wasn’t enough, now she was stealing her water in public too.

Jiang Siyi’s gaze turned resentful. She moved her chair closer and whispered fiercely, “Why did you steal my water?”

The others on the sofa were chatting animatedly, their backs to them, analyzing the script line by line.

No one noticed what was happening—except for Kong Yin, who was sitting nearby.

Shen Shiwu turned slightly, tapped Jiang Siyi’s head with the empty cup, and replied calmly, “Because I wanted to kiss you.”

“But I couldn’t, so I drank your water instead.”

Jiang Siyi hid behind her, silent for a long time.

She pretended to be nonchalant, but her expression betrayed her.

The mention of kissing reminded her of the scene in the elevator, being caught by Kong Yin.

Jiang Siyi felt both embarrassed and annoyed, suspecting that Shen Shiwu had done it on purpose.

So, the three of them, sitting together, had different thoughts and expressions.

Embarrassment, composure, and jealousy.

If there were a stage, their performance would be quite a show.

As time passed, the sky outside began to darken.

Shen Shiwu glanced at the time. Although reluctant to leave, she was busy with work, several projects waiting for her signature.

She patted Jiang Siyi’s head. “I have to go now.”

Jiang Siyi, unusually obedient, held her finger and whispered, “Don’t miss me too much.”

“Because I definitely won’t miss you.”

Shen Shiwu chuckled helplessly.

The others on the sofa, tired from discussing the script, were either sprawled out or dozing off.

Ah Yun, hearing the movement, opened her eyes and asked, “Are you leaving?”

Jiang Siyi looked back at her. “I still have to work here, of course I’m not leaving. It’s my girlfriend who’s going back to Qinan.”

Ah Yun responded with an “Ah,” realizing her question was silly.

She turned to Shen Shiwu and patted her chest. “Don’t worry, we’ll take good care of Ms. Jiang.”

Leaving the recording studio, seeing the familiar elevator, Jiang Siyi had wanted to settle the score. But remembering their impending separation, she held back.

The building was busy at this hour, mostly people heading downstairs for dinner, and the elevator took a while to arrive. After all these years, whenever she was with Shen Shiwu, Jiang Siyi still felt restless.

She asked, “Should we just take the stairs?”

Shen Shiwu nodded thoughtfully. “Okay.”

The stairwell was dimly lit by motion-sensor lights.

Jiang Siyi had always been afraid of the dark and ghosts, but after four years abroad, often walking alone at night after class, she had become braver.

But now, she suddenly realized that she hadn’t truly overcome her fear.

She had been so bold in the past only because she had no one to rely on, she had to force herself to be strong.

And as she realized this, Shen Shiwu gently held her hand.

“Be careful, don’t fall.”

The motion-sensor lights, perhaps old and faulty, reacted slowly, illuminating Shen Shiwu’s face, her features even more defined.

Jiang Siyi glanced at her, thinking she had been caught staring, and her heart skipped a beat, her steps faltering.

She missed a step and stumbled.

Just as she was about to fall backward, Shen Shiwu quickly caught her by the waist, preventing a disaster, but they still bumped against the wall.

Jiang Siyi, shielded by Shen Shiwu’s embrace, was unharmed.

Seeing Shen Shiwu’s arm scrape against the wall, she quickly asked, “Are you okay?”

Shen Shiwu didn’t answer.

She frowned, even more worried. “Does it hurt?”

Shen Shiwu seemed to be thinking about something. After a few seconds, she finally replied, “Yes.”

Her breath, warm against Jiang Siyi’s face, made her skin tingle. “It hurts a lot.”

Jiang Siyi, without a doubt, looked at Shen Shiwu’s arm, her expression worried. “Should we go to the hospital?”

“No.”

“Then let’s go downstairs, it should get better after you rest for a bit.”

“No.”

Jiang Siyi gradually realized something was wrong.

She smiled. “Then what do you want?”

Shen Shiwu, her intentions exposed, wasn’t ashamed at all. She pretended to think for a moment, then said calmly, “Kiss me, and I’ll be fine.”

Jiang Siyi found herself strange. They had done everything, but she still blushed at the request for a kiss.

She turned her head away, her heart pounding. “I’m not kissing a liar.”

“Be a good girl.”

Jiang Siyi was even more annoyed, her rebellious spirit flaring, just like years ago. She gritted her teeth. “I’m not a little girl anymore.”

Shen Shiwu humored her. “Okay.”

Then she pointed at her lips, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Do as I say, and I’ll admit you’re a grown-up.”

Sometimes, being too stubborn would lead to being bullied, especially when it came to Shen Shiwu.

This was something Jiang Siyi had learned long ago, but she had always ignored it, until today…

In the empty, yet potentially occupied, stairwell, the lights flickered on and off. Jiang Siyi couldn’t help but curse softly, “Shen Shiwu, you jerk…”

She regretted wearing a dress today; it made things too convenient for Shen Shiwu, who chuckled softly, her hands exploring.

Even through the fabric, the touch was incredibly sensual. Jiang Siyi’s legs felt weak, and she reached for the wall, but Shen Shiwu grabbed her wrist. “Hold me.”

The woman’s voice was low and husky. “Be quiet, or the lights will turn on.”

Feeling Shen Shiwu’s hand caressing her, Jiang Siyi couldn’t help but let out a soft moan. She was sensitive, and now, leaning back against Shen Shiwu’s arm, her expression was one of barely suppressed pleasure.

“Ah, the lights are on.”

Shen Shiwu tapped her cheek lightly, a gentle, yet firm, punishment.

“Does Xiao Si want to be discovered?”

Shen Shiwu always liked to say suggestive things at times like this, and although Jiang Siyi should have been used to it, she wasn’t.

—Because Shen Shiwu always managed to come up with new ways to tease her.

Jiang Siyi couldn’t win, so she bit her lip, trying to suppress her moans, her body flushed, even her fingertips, pressed against Shen Shiwu’s shoulder, turning pink.

“Silence means you like it, right?”

“Since Xiao Si likes it so much, we should do this more often, shouldn’t we?”

No.

Doing this in public was too embarrassing.

Jiang Siyi’s words were disjointed, broken by gasps of pleasure. “I don’t… stop…”

“You don’t like it?”

Shen Shiwu’s voice was low and husky. “Really?”

She smiled mischievously. “But my fingers are all wrinkled now.”

The motion-sensor lights flickered on and off, diligently doing their job, oblivious to the heat and passion beneath them.

Only when Jiang Siyi’s legs gave way, and she collapsed against Shen Shiwu, her expression hazy, was the culprit finally satisfied.

She nibbled on the girl’s earlobe. “You said you wouldn’t miss me after I left, was that true?”

Jiang Siyi’s body tingled, another old score being settled, and she felt like she was suffocating.

She no longer cared about pride, her voice softening. “No.”

“I’ll… miss you every day.”

“Mm-hmm!”

Perhaps the impending separation made Shen Shiwu even more restless.

Her touch today was more intense than usual.

She tilted Jiang Siyi’s chin up and kissed her repeatedly, asking again and again, “Will you miss me?”

Jiang Siyi sobbed softly, lost in the sensation.

Tears streamed down her face, and she was forced to reply, “I’ll miss you. I’ll think of you every second of every day.”

Her body went limp again, and she trembled for a long time. Lifting her weak hand, she caressed Shen Shiwu’s face, repeating, “Really… I’ll miss you.”

Shen Shiwu smoothed her hair and straightened her dress.

Finally hearing her heartfelt promise, she was satisfied.

Looking at the marks on Jiang Siyi’s neck, a possessive smile appeared on her lips.

A few seconds later, as Jiang Siyi was recovering, she heard a soft praise from above.

“Mm, good girl.”
