A golden ripple of light filled the air, a powerful energy fluctuation enveloping the entire valley. The woman in the tight black leather suit and the girl with the VR headset stared blankly at the golden egg before them. Cracks were spreading across its surface.

“Is it finally coming? One of the 72 Legends, Star Sand!!!” The woman in black muttered nervously.
During the ten hours the signal had been blocked, they had been trapped here, unable to even summon their pet beasts. They couldn’t possibly leave the cave relying solely on their own strength. Even a single aggressive Mid-Tier pet beast could easily kill them.

The girl with the VR headset was dumbfounded, watching her captain rambling about her childhood experiences. This was the first time she had seen her usually aloof captain so agitated and excited, her words almost incoherent.

“So, Star Sand, are you interested in joining my lineup and winning the regional Academy League championship!?” After a minute and a half, Qi Dong finally finished recounting her experiences and encounters.
Next, according to the rules, it was the girl’s turn to share her story…
The golden figure floating in the air slowly lowered her head, looking at the woman in black leather who had been talking non-stop.
Then, she softly asked, “Are you…the strongest person here…?”

“She can talk!!!” After a dozen seconds of silence following Star Sand’s words, the girl with the VR headset covered her mouth in disbelief.

“You said…Royal-Tier is my limit!?”
“Why are you insulting me?”

“Why…was I born in this place?” The elemental figure’s voice was light and pleasant, like the flow of a clear spring.
But under Qi Dong’s bewildered gaze, Star Sand’s emotions became increasingly unstable, its elemental body starting to dissipate, golden sand particles scattering.
After a moment, the questioning Star Sand finally calmed down, seemingly realizing something, covering its face with trembling hands.

“But where is my Ancient Species?”
“It was clearly here!!!”
“Without the protection of an Ancient Species, I can’t evolve on my own…”

Under the incredulous gazes of the two Beast Tamers, Star Sand started rolling around and crying. And as it threw its tantrum, the energy fluctuations enveloping Youxi Valley became increasingly unstable.

In the next second, a golden wave erupted from Star Sand, transforming into a deafening pillar of light that shot into the sky. A furious golden sandstorm rose, sweeping away Qi Dong and the other team member. The sandstorm obliterated everything in its path, the cave walls and rocks turning to ash in an instant.
Within a radius of hundreds of miles, the sky and earth of Youxi Valley were buried in an endless golden sandstorm.
