Chapter 12: Healing in the Cave
The script described how Yan Zhen, seeing the aerial battle end, had immediately fled, fearing discovery by the two Mystic Lord realm dragons.
The safety of the two beautiful Mystic Lords wasn’t his concern. He was struggling to survive in the Demon Dragon Mountain Range himself.
But as he ran, he had stumbled upon the two injured women.
He hadn’t wanted to get involved, but seeing their weak breaths, their frail appearances like wilting flowers, he couldn’t help but feel sympathy. Gritting his teeth, he had rescued them.
In reality, he couldn’t just run around aimlessly, hoping to bump into them by chance. He had to find them quickly.
With his Soul Realm having reached the “Concealed-Manifest” stage, his Spiritual Perception range had extended to about three hundred meters. However, locating them in this vast mountainous region would still take some time.
And the two dragons had ordered the other Mystic Beasts to search for them. He had to be careful not to be discovered.
After an hour of searching, he finally found them at the waterfall mentioned in the script.
They were both drenched, their clothes clinging to their bodies, revealing their alluring curves, even the colors of their undergarments.
They lay side by side on the grassy bank, motionless, having apparently fainted after dragging themselves out of the water.
He scratched his head, recalling the script. He was supposed to find Jiu Youyue first, settle her down, then discover Yun Xiu the next day. Now they were both lying together…
Forget it, I’ll just save them both. This minor deviation shouldn’t affect the overall plot.
There was a spacious cave behind the waterfall. He easily located it with his Spiritual Perception.
He swallowed nervously, picking up Jiu Youyue, then, with a powerful leap, soared through the waterfall, entering the cave.
“Roar~”
A Mystic Beast’s growl echoed nearby. His heart skipped a beat. He placed Jiu Youyue on a flat stone platform, then rushed back out.
As he turned, Jiu Youyue, “unconscious and severely injured,” discreetly opened her eyes, biting her lip.
— He saved her first. Heehee~
Moments later, he returned, carrying the truly unconscious Yun Xiu. Jiu Youyue quickly closed her eyes.
He placed Yun Xiu beside Jiu Youyue, then rushed out again, scattering the poison powder Yi Xian’er had given him around the area, ensuring no Mystic Beasts would approach, before returning to the cave. He retrieved a glowstone for illumination, then ignited the Gold and Silver Fire, dispelling the dampness.
…
He finally had time to examine the two unconscious women.
Jiu Youyue was dressed in a green dress, the silk fabric clinging to her alluring curves, her neckline revealing a hint of her cleavage.
Her long legs, slender yet shapely, were incredibly attractive. He couldn’t help but imagine how pleasurable it would be to be wrapped in those legs.
In the script, he had indeed been captivated by her legs, their slightest touch sending him over the edge. If not for his… exceptional stamina, he might have been drained dry.
The unconscious Jiu Youyue, devoid of her usual Demon Realm temptress aura, looked like a beautiful, delicate woman, her pale face adding to her allure, evoking a protective instinct.
Yun Xiu, however, gave him a different feeling.
His attention wasn’t drawn to her beauty, but to her noble, ethereal aura.
He had sensed a similar aura from his Beautiful Sect Master, but she felt more like a motherly figure, while Yun Xiu gave him a feeling of first love, making his heart flutter.
He finally understood why the Yan Zhen in the script had fallen for her.
The Cloud Heaven Palace Grand Palace Master was wearing a moon-white dress, its sleeves detached, revealing her smooth, fair shoulders, the upper part of her bodice made of a translucent material, her collarbone clearly visible.
Her ample bosom strained against the fabric, seemingly as impressive as Xian’er’s, but with a more mature and voluptuous appeal.
Her slender waist, cinched by a sash, accentuated her curves, contrasting with her full breasts, rising and falling with each breath, a captivating sight.
Her clothes were slightly disheveled and torn, her porcelain skin marred by several bloody wounds, especially around her chest and ribs, where claw marks were evident.
They looked quite serious, but surely such injuries wouldn’t render a Mystic Lord unconscious, right?
His intuition was correct. Although her injuries were severe, she hadn’t fainted. She could have taken medicine and meditated to heal herself.
The reason she was unconscious was because Jiu Youyue had struck her with a palm attack after they fell into the water, disrupting her energy flow.
…
After comparing their injuries, he decided to treat Yun Xiu first.
He retrieved all his healing medicines from his storage ring, arranging the bottles and jars on the ground, then took a deep breath, reaching for her sash.
However, as he untied the knot, she stirred, her eyes fluttering open, her gaze meeting his.
He jumped in surprise, his movements freezing.
“Uh, y-you’re awake?”
She blinked, her gaze lowering to his hand on her sash.
He quickly withdrew his hand, explaining, “I-I didn’t mean anything! I just wanted to treat your injuries. You looked… seriously hurt. I thought you might be… in danger…”
Seeing his flustered expression, memories she had cherished for years flooded her mind, her heart fluttering. She lowered her gaze, her voice soft.
“I-I can do it myself.”
Her tone wasn’t cold and indifferent, as described in the script, but gentle and… almost shy.
He found it strange, but he nodded.
“Then… go ahead. The medicine is right here.”
Feeling the disruption in her energy flow, she frowned, trying to sit up, but she couldn’t move.
Her acupoints had been sealed?
She realized Jiu Youyue must have struck her with a paralyzing palm attack after they fell into the water.
She glanced at Jiu Youyue, finding her watching them with one eye open, a mischievous glint in it.
She felt a surge of anger and frustration, wanting to scold her, but she held back, not wanting to create a scene in front of Yan Zhen.
She closed her eyes, attempting to circulate her Mystic Power to break free, but it was futile. Instead, she aggravated her internal injuries, a pained moan escaping her lips.
Yan Zhen, about to turn away, stopped, his voice filled with concern.
“Fairy Sister, are you alright?”
Hearing that embarrassing nickname again, her cheeks flushed, her heart filled with a bittersweet warmth.
— No, she had already decided to let go of her feelings for him.
She pursed her lips, forcing her voice to sound cold and indifferent.
“I’m fine. Don’t worry about me. Go treat my junior sister.”
He looked at her, then nodded, turning away, approaching Jiu Youyue.
